Avengers sequel must wait for Iron Man 3, Thor 2, Captain America 2 and another yettobe announced Marvel installment.. Let's hope it's Ruffalo's Hulk feature film.. Altho i'm pretty positive that they would wanna add new characters to the Avengers line up.. For all we know, Hulk might appear in Iron Man 3, providing aid against Mandarin.. Banner & Stark seems tight

This movie is amazing!! especially the interactions between the heroes! Simply "Marvel"ous delivers a kick in the nuts to DC who owns all of their own property yet failed to capitalize.

Ironman too strong .
Captain America too weak .
Hawkeye was well done .
Thor is also on the weak and useless side .
Hulk is Ok .
Black Widow Well Done .
Loki , pathetically weak .

Cap might be "weak" but he more than makes up for it in terms of tactical knowledge and leadership.

Good movie. Give it 9.5/10. Somewhat feel something lacking inside the movie. Perhaps cameo of other superheroes? Hahahahaha...

Can't wait for Avengers 2. Hopefully they'll bring Spidey in.

Personally, I feel Avengers is average at best. Agree with some of the members here, story and character development is weak. That happens when they include too many character in a movie. IMO, Hawkeye abilities seems to be the most ridiculous of them all whereas Thor could be better utilized.

Also, those aliens seems to be like the lousiest warriors ever, they seem to miss most of their shot. lol

Just came back from the movie. Throughly satisfied and enough action and humor to make the 2.5 hours flow without any sense of boredom. Those who didn't watch the earlier individual movies might have more questions but can still enjoy this one as a standalone.

Fantastic what they did with my fav avengers hero, the hulk. True to the characters element. Also stayed back for the extra scene. They stayed true to the next villain as well with regards to the courting death part.

Marvel got this one right all the way. Superb way of tying up all the earlier solo movies. Might be tempted to go watch again.

Exactly like in the comic. I really enjoy it. 9.5/10. Looking forward to see spidey in avengers wearing that gold costume stark give him. That would be awesome.

Just got back from the movie. One word - satisfying. Thoroughly, thoroughly satisfying. All the "milestones" they achieved with having multiple superheroes - enough screen time, enough action, enough drama, enough comedy, enough emotion. But not enough Hulk! OK, maybe that is me but Hulk was one of the strongest part of the film. Maybe also due partly to the absence of Hulk in any form in recent years or perhaps Mark Ruffalo did a terrific job of being a "skiddish, always afraid and on-the-edge" performance. biggrin.gif

As for the mixture of Marvel characters - - congrats Joss Whedon! I am now a fan of his films, his involvement in last week's "Cabin In The Woods" was incredible and now this. Brilliantly done. This is one film that will make every Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and Hulk fan happy. And that was, the biggest challenge of this enigmatic film.

I love the whole banter between the characters, as always, Tony Stark being the one that highlights this. Also love how they used Hawkeye and Black Widow - didn't know they had "something" going on between them. And what about Tom Hiddleston's amazing performance. Faultless.

Overall, one of the strongest (pun intended!) films of the year. This and last week's film I watched currently top the films of 2012. Interest to note is Cobie Smulders, gosh isn't she a beauty! wub.gif

9.0/10

+ Brilliant acting performances (especially Mark Ruffalo and Tom Hiddleston)
+ Brilliantly paced at 2 hr+
+ Nice brief doses of humour
+ Amazing top-of-the-league visual effects and sound effects
+ The chemistry between each character and the "combined" speciality of each put to good use
+ Screen time per-character

- I so wish we had more Hulk (I wish!)
- Drama can get a bit muddled
- Fast-paced action sequences sometimes, a bit too fast? (I was seated at the 2nd row front from!)

There is a post-credits scene. I thought I had to wait until the entire credits were over but not quite. It is about 1 minute long. No idea what it is, but Marvel fans will know for sure. I can safely say "Avengers 2" ! tongue.gif A long wait, but we have "Iron Man 3" next year.

HULK SMASH !!! rclxm9.gif I got super hyper during those sequences.

Watched the movie just now. Totally enjoyed it especially the fact where they brought all the big boys together.

So sad the cards never got signed though!!

Personally, I still have my reservation on this movie, even before the movie was released and more so after the 1st trailer was shown. I will probably watch this when the admission ticket is RM5.

Enjoyable movie; feels serious & comical at the same time Action scenes distributed evenly & probably not much climax expected since they were going against 1 army rather than a single supervillain.
