Hmmm...

While highly impressive, the SDCC 2017 trailer is way better IMO rclxms.gif

Most obvious is the Thanos updated look. The SDCC trailer shows the Avengers working together even more.

So Vision in human form = adds more fuel to the rumor that Scarlet Witch + Vision = they will have kids, Wiccan and Speed (Young Avengers).

That Disney-Fox deal (if finalized) is not going to affect future Marvel films in my opinion. Everything is already set in motion until Avengers 4. Perhaps after Avengers 4, we will see it in the next 'Marvel Phase'. What will it be, well, perhaps Fantastic Four + Young Avengers, that sort of thing.

Imagine the post-credits scene of Avengers 4 (not even Avengers 3)... tongue.gif

QUOTE(metaloid @ Dec 5 2017, 03:26 PM)
The cover of the trailer is already a fail, they cant sell their movie.
*
Lol yeah... WB and its marketing team once again, dropped the ball. My interest level for JL peaked, then as the release date approached, I just kept losing interest. BvS all over again.

QUOTE(ThalaFan @ Dec 3 2017, 02:48 PM)
Whats gonna happen post-Avengers 4?

Marvel gonna reboot or keep going?

I certainly hope other directors besides Russos & Joss Whedon take charge cuz diff makers have diff perspectives & presentation style.

James Wan, Del Toro or even Roland Emmerich are some choices.

Thanos may be most historical baddie for Avengers. But there's Eternity, Living Tribunal, The One Above All.

Wish all or at least 1 of these characters make their appearance in Avengers film
*
Young Avengers strongly hinted. Starting with the first post-Avengers 4 film 'Spider-Man Homecoming 2'.

The old ones either 'stepping aside' or indeed... meeting their ultimate ends. At least that's what I think.

I'm curious what will happen to the Fox X-men franchise (X-men Phoenix, Deadpool & New mutants which all are currently shooting). I think after all have finish shooting and screening in cinemas, they will cancel and reboot all in Mcu phase 4.

I think they are waiting for this to happen hence the 20 unknown films which Feige already said after phase 4.
*
Wouldn't mind if they reboot all for MCU.

Just look at Spider-Man.

Everyone was expecting The Amazing Spider-Man 3... and were somewhat 'outraged' that Andrew Garfield was ditched for the youngest Spidey actor.

Yet, Tom Holland was well received and Spider-Man Homecoming IMO breathe new life into the series. Marvel was smart - - they DIDN'T NEED to show Spidey's origins as it was already done twice. So no more Uncle Ben getting killed a third time.

There's a good possibility Fantastic Four / X-Men will already be a team with superpowers when Marvel reboots.

Let the currently in production films complete their cinema runtime before a reboot.

As for Deadpool...

There can ONLY BE ONE who plays it - Ryan Reynolds.

There is no way, they are going to recast Deadpool!!!

No way. rclxs0.gif

Same goes for Wolverine, but he's done with Logan.

Plenty of rumors going on about how this character dies (spoiler?)

'Thanos' and 'Thor' apparently will have the longest screentime of any character in 'Infinity War' which is a little bit surprising (especially the latter).

As usual, missed the advanced ticket sales... the timing is out anyway, as expected. Maybe will catch that weekend.

But IMAX 3D though... IMAX 2D > IMAX 3D (IMAX 3D the subtitles cover 40% of the screen).

April 27, IMAX 3D for me...

No IMAX 2D (at of this time).

Perhaps it will be added later...

Sigh... enjoy 40% of the screen covered in subtitles. dry.gif

Lol.. just thinking back, look at when it all started and where we are now... biggrin.gif

2008 - Iron Man 1

...

2018 - Avengers Infinity War

A decade of MCU.

Hopefully it comes to an epic high this week. I know it won't be a 'conclusive' end since we have Avengers 4 in 2019.

I'm super excited. Will be 'offline mode' tomorrow until Friday to avoid spoilers on the web.

Yeeeeeaaaaah..... !!! rclxms.gif

Just seen it on IMAX 3D.

Surprisingly - - - the subtitles are now 'regular size' and not distracting laugh.gif

And the 3D - - believe it or not, it actually worked! Particles effects, depth of field, got one moment a rock is flung towards you and you almost blink hehe..

OK... let me be straightforward on the film.

IF you are not really a fan of the past MCU films, you are not going to like this one. I feel some might compare it to say AoU (in terms of how much they tried to fit in and mix together) but to me...

This is one of the best Marvel films to date...!

The visual effects especially the Wakanda battle scene as seen from the trailer - - wow!

The battle on Titan - - wow!

No spoilers... but it pretty damn sad... sigh... goodbye

Anyways...

Cant' friggin wait for 2019! thumbup.gif

2 1/2 hours just flew... I have no idea how I didn't notice the time.

Thanos is OFFICIALLY the baddest villain in MCU.

Easily a 9/10 from me...

The gripes I felt were sometimes the bantering can get prolonged and the

The best plot prediction for 'Avengers 4' thus far... as the Russo Brothers themselves said, it will be a 'distinctively different' story from 'Avengers 3' albeit still Thanos vs. Avengers.

Marvel’s President Just Confirmed The Fate Of Each Avenger After ‘Infinity War’
http://www.rojakdaily.com/entertainment/ar...er-infinity-war

QUOTE
The statement was given to Entertainment Weekly who asked Feige whether if a character dies in 'Infinity War', will they die for good instead of coming back in some way as illustrated in previous Marvel movies.

“I could always list off the characters that we’ve killed in our movies that haven’t come back, but the big ones, which I know they’re looking at …

"I would just say, yes. People need to be careful what they wish for,” he was quoted by the website as saying.

But you have to read between the words...

Also, I just come to learn that Captain Marvel takes place in the 90s with Nick Fury having both his eyes biggrin.gif

Also, if you ever wanted a 'Nick Fury' origin film, this could be it!

QUOTE
Nick Fury in 'Captain Marvel': The head agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Fury appears without his signature eye patch as the film is set in the 1990s before he lost his eye. Feige stated that the film explores a period of Fury's life when he has no idea about superheroes and that Carol Danvers is the first hero that he comes across, elaborating: "[Fury] has reached a point in his career where he thought the Cold War is over and the best days are behind him. And when he encounters certain things in this movie, it sets him on a path that leads us to where we are 19 films later.

Can't wait for 'Captain Marvel'!

Can't wait for 'Avengers 4!'

Who says superhero movie fatigue has set in....?? We WANT MORE!!!

Totally.

Will serve as a great 'exit' strategy for current 'old Avengers' without 'killing off them off finitely' for a timeline we probably have seen/known.

Numerous sources pointing towards casting of 'Young Avengers'. biggrin.gif

Spidey-Homecoming 2 already a good hint tongue.gif
