this is exactly what i am worry about.... what if they ban me after few month i bought my car... cause i can see a lot of complaint about driver getting ban....they wont give you a warning before ban you from driving ? And there is no way to let them unban you ?

so there is a risk that u lose of income even though u might appeal at a later stage

i remember crap soft ban me for half day for hardware problem (suspect something with my phone) but before that never warn me via sms or email. i like sohai waited 2 hours non ping then only i go call crap...

I think better u wait and see 1st, lets the other competitor absorb the market share. At least u have other option to be consider.

ok...first, imagine u accepted a request to send rider from KL city to KLIA. trip is 50km, RM65.
after drop off, what u want to do? go back to KLIA empty car? its a 50km return trip.

or, u can hv 2 other choice:

1) drive to putrajaya or nearest city and start driving there
2) wait for ride back to KL city/some where
3rd choice is DON'T accept any KLIA rides from the city. that way u'll be driving in city only. dun forget, in city, u might caught in jam. trip to KLIA usually smooth traffic.

as mentioned, return trip from KLIA is RM65. 2 trips, consumed 4 hours (1 hr to, 2 hr wait, 1 hr return) is RM130 which gross about RM30/hr. If u get an even further return trip, like to genting, even better!
if u lucky, ur able to make same fare in putrajaya/cyberjaya but u'll be driving non-stop.
in KLIA, ur idle, no petrol used, u relax and play fb/tumblr

also discussed in this thread, many agree upto 2hrs wait is reasonable (given 4hrs total)...more than that then its probably not worth it.

if u so worried kena ban, then u need to behave better lor...install dvr in car to record the riders. if some idiot report u for no reason at least u can defend.
if u behave or wanna behave like gangster abang taxi, then god bless, better u dun buy car and drive.
some riders are idiots..u'll see many like those and cant avoid. just do ur job, and things should be ok. u'll need to be damn 9 suei to kena ban for no reason.

Heard said, new regulation need vehicle insurance to be purchased under commercial title which mean not only premium will be 2.5 time more expensive but will result in low trade-in value of vehicle and somemore got this stupid requirement about age of vehicle cannot be older than 5 years. ( not sure if this is true or not, though ). Come every fifth year, trade in car. Low resale value. Trade in still owe bank. Get new loan will owe bank more. Better think really hard if you really want to proceed to get new car to do this business loh, bro

This five years need change new car will not even work for full timer lah unless can guarantee earn like 10 to 15k per month. Nowadays what can 5 or 6k do for family man. After deducting house hold expenses and utilities bill and kids education and still need to set aside some for rainy days if not kena admit to hospital who to call for help, ahjibkor or rosymah ah?, right

On a side note, if this Nancy sukro can guarantee driver can earn like 10 to 15k per month, don't say lah 5 years, I myself will want to change car come every 3 years lah.
