do you know , a moment ago I heard the news said that customer can complain if they charging you surcharge.. that why the stop implement the surcharge

all knew allready if tm offers certain product cheapest compare to other shop, my way it is , just take out the price from TM then show to other shop that they selling same product, If can get chance maybe you can purchase more cheaper to tm ,

what I did before in yr 2007 , im was looking ocz ram , the viewnet sell the ram cost rm230, but the thundermatch sell around rm180, so I takeout tm price list then show to viewnet, then i can same price as TM.
why I prefer viewnet because their services very good in terms of getting warranty, sells person was okay,

viewnet all lausy la ! all bad services especially in 3rd floor bad service ! wanted to buy laptop but the girl and the boy at the laptop caunter talk shit with me thought we consumer stupid one is it ! better boy cot viewnet . in the end bought the laptop acer with czone.

I tell you guys.. This thread was posted three years ago and sadly I only saw it recently. I should have checked before I bought a laptop from this horrible company's outlet in Digi Mall, PJ.
The staff were sweet when I was buying the set but when I went home and found wrong accessories given to me, I went back to have it changed. That is when the staff became monsters.
There is this supervisor, a fat sloppy looking fella who treated me like a prisoner when I had spent more than RM2k just hours earlier.
He refused the exchange initially but later agreed but gave me inferior replacements.
My advise to Malaysians, STAY AWAY FROM THUNDERMATCH AT ALL COSTS!! If you have to spend a bit more at another place with good after sales service, then do so but just don associate yourselves with these thieves!! I and hundreds of others have fallen victim, I hope you do not become another. Remember, it is us who keep them in business, so teach them a lesson and cut them off..

the price displayed for PC accessories are cash price ... meaning , if u wanna get it using credit card , u will need to pay special "credit card" price , which is apparently more expensive than cash price of course doh.gif

i went to thundermatch 2nd floor to purchase amd x3 425 n d guy there gav me already use proc... dam.... i onli notice it after i went bc.... crap. btw, i went there think around 6-7pm on 3rd june 2010 ..

Hello boxer07,

All retailers in Malaysia are charged a certain percentage by the bank, for all credit card transactions. Generally retailers either disguise this charge with higher prices, or charge it back to the customer as a 2% creditcard surcharge. There is no "special credit card price", simply the normal price plus x% charges (referring to retailers in general, not specifically Thunder Match)

Very true - all customers should always check their items before leaving the shop. Our Salespeople are after all, only human and can make mistakes. We as retailers would never want to cheat our customers since obviously that is bad business practice. No point earning extra RM100 from that person but losing RM100,000 worth of business when complaints start flowing in.

By the way I would appreciate if you guys could reply in the official Thunder Match LYN Feedback Thread as this thread is very old and has been long resolved.

Hope TS can close this thread for convenience sake smile.gif

just found this thread,i got sometime buy some accesories from tm long time ago so far no complain.

but shifted to viewnet recently as they offer better price and very fast rma,sometime even 1 to 1 exchange after 1weeks and willing to match competitor price if there are able to.

obviously, those company who keep growing, their management/ services level will become worst each day cus by majority complaint by consumer, they open so many branch at different place with many different personality staff...we cant blame TM instant but we can blame cus their branch manager didnt look after their staff ...

my advise, since TM cant control over their staff in different outlet,
then, Their HQ in lowyat plaza shuld become the best of their after-sale service for their entire shop-let ...

seem, HQ already like tat, then how their other outlet learn from it????

Bad serivce.

I wanted to buy an Asus N55 during the Pikom PC fair and I found out that I cant swipe my credit card because my limit is below the price rm2799 even when I opt of easy instalment. So I chose to deposit RM100 so I can get the same package as PC fair and it will be send to Aeon Bukit Tinggi in 3-4 days time. I was at PC fair on Sunday. I urgently needed the laptop for work and was hoping to be able to get my hands on the laptop by thursday latest.

I didnt get a call from anyone on thursday, so I called Aeon bukit Tinggi today (friday) to check if my laptop has arrived. The person picked up dont know anything, and I ask what can I do about it, and he say he dont know cause they will ONLY KNOW IF GIVEN ORDERS. (Excuse me, cant you call your HQ and Check?!) I didnt wanted to give them a hard time so I just call HQ in Times Square and enquire.

I was even furious calling Times square, They also say they not sure and ask me to wait for their call once the laptop has arrive. So I ask when will it arrive, should be monday cause we dont open on week ends (Excuse me, your shop is in malls, malls open 7 days a week) Even if your Driver dont work on weekends, you should have sent it during the week days so I can collect it on the weekends.

I ask what can i do now. They say they will check, take down my details and say will call back. I ask when will you call back? they say asap. I ask Asap means when? By today? they say yeah.

I will be extremely unhappy with the service if he dont call me back today. I will also be unhappy if I cant get my laptop by this week end because I also have a job to complete. Do you think it takes 5 minutes to install all my software needed?

So I finally got my call back and they say shipping delay (why did some else tell me that finance department haven process?) The latest can reach Aeon Bukit Tinggi Klang is next Wednesday. (Are you kidding me? Is bad enough I have to wait till monday and now you are telling me to wait longer?) I mean really, can't you get someone to send personally to Aeon bukit tinggi? Is like a freaking must to wait for your lorry? So only you lorry driver can drive?

They can afford to tell me this, if want faster have to go to times square to get it on monday. I am like excuse me, the reason of me paying deposit is as agreed for you to send the laptop to Klang. Who is going to pay for my travelling fee?

I ask for benefit compensation, nice, a wireless mouse. What am I going to do with the wireless mouse? In fact I hate wireless mouse, are you going to give a lifetime of triple A batteries for the wireless mouse?

I think the only good thing is that their staff know how to apologies sincerely and speak nicely to their customers. Not all of their staffs, some don't know anything and didn't even suggest to help me up.

Thunder Match technology, you better do something about your service as I know I am not the only one. There are so many complaints. Even if you have the largest amount of branches in Malaysia, you are still not the leading company when your service is not up to standard.

For person in charged, if you are reading this, please do something, fast.

bad service for my site as well .... advise not to buy from this shop again....
very bad attitude when repair or asking for help....


and the 2% credit card surcharge shoud be bear by the seller but not the buyer....
