Shouldve taken your case to the consumers tribunal.

These kinds of bad cases @Thundermatch should be brought to authorities attention, otherwise Thundermatch will continue to cheat more unsuspecting customers!

Oh ya, I remember we can report to some Persatuan Pengguna or something.

Add me into the fray of those who kena tipu with thundermatch. Don't need to go into details. Similar to what happened with karhoe. Bottomline is they don't stick with their f***ing returns or warranty policy. In fact they lie about almost everything. F**k them all to hell!!!! Don't buy from them. Period.

short summary :
1.bought lappy
2. got a tiny drawing on its box indicate the lappy got dead pixel
3.they cover the drawing with a window xp sticker
4 i noticed the dead pixel n the drawing on the box
5. took plenty of difficulties untill i manage to exchange the lappy

i bought a sound card, and it's still working perfect..huahua, cheaper than other shop.

I think ive already post here..coulddnt remember..i also will not be buying anything there...poor waranty policy n they hire 'kutu malas' for their staff.juz stick around doing nothing..hope they go bankrupt..haha

a lot of staff change job from other shop at lyp level2 to tm, coz they said same salary but not need to work so hard.

that is Malaysian workerslah, especially.... you know what i going to said. and thundermatch got alot also.

ya..most of the customer do not go report after the cheating scamming..so those thing keep happen as seldom got ppl care it.

Guys ...how about we create a thread for item that we buy in any shop at LYP...hopefully we have a record for any bad service, customers cheating etc. So other can decide which shop to spend some money a.k.a give them profit.

even in the next life i'll never step my foot on thundermatch floor..

I also bought a GC (7300GT) at an earlier PC Fair this year. Turns out it was also bad. Took pictures of the screen corruption etc, and brought it back to the shop (a small shop located on Imbi ground floor). No stock, but was given option to either full refund or trade up. So, I opted for a 7600GT instead (after topping up some cash). Good experience and no questions asked.

As for Thunder Match, I usually give them a complete miss because I find that the sales people have a screwed-up attitude. I am definitely NOT a n00b and have some money to spend, so I will easily take my business elsewhere.

Look for Robyncom instead. Even if they do not have the parts, the guys will go a bit out of the way to find them for you.

Okay, its been ages since I've been to LYP.
Note to self: Remember to ignore Thundermatch shop when I'm there.

i go there lv 4 yesterday, the staffs there so free they all gather and chat in group. when i ask a guy where this item at... the cincai point and say over there only... the continue chatting. i straight walk out the shop

i just bought one thing from this shop....hdd enclosure, they sell it cheaper than other

add me to the list. Here's what happened..

1. Bought LCD from Thundermatch Level 4
2. Found out got 2 dead pixels
3. Next day tried to return, but got rejected and said LCD with 7pixels only can be returned.

What I did.
1. On the spot demanded for a 1 to 1 exchange since it's only less than 24 hour purchase
2. 1to1 exchange got turned down. I called my family friend who is an office in Jabatan Jenayah Kommercial on the spot.
3. Still got rejected. Call my dad's company lawyer for advice.
4. Finally, police came. Exchange a new LCD.

BUT...went back home, still got 1 dead pixel....sigh~ i malas wana go through all that again...

Wow, that's some hassle to exchange an LCD!

I don't blame you, because even 1 dead pixel is sickening and ruins the experience you get with an LCD.
