Good morning sifus,

Any ideas on the delivery date for an X70 if i place the order now?

A sales agent just informed possible to get one in 1.5-2months....

I am worried if i placed order and it stretches to a longer delivery date (been noticing posts about delivery +/-5months).
Considering other type of cars if it does require that long.

Thank you very much for your kind advise.

For my case, I booked mid April. LOA signed. I even paid DP already. Initially said unit will be available within 2 months. Until now, haven't received. Latest update from agent is by October or November. Sigh.. planning to pullout if not received by then. Probably switch to cx5.

if take cx5, take the 2.5 onward, or 2.5T. the 2.0 is ok, just that dont expect it to have plenty of power considering the size. based on my family 2.0 cx5 vs my x70.

I see. Planning to get 2.0 GLS. 2.5 and above is out of my budget already lol. Is the power difference really noticeable vs x70? Shucks.. hopefully can get x70 soon.

maybe due to turbo early torque, torque value, 300nm vs 213nm, NA needs to rev above 4k to has the max torque of the car. but if just regular drive might not feel to much different. and in my case, having another japan sedan car with all-black interior, i don't want to commit with another 5 years of a black-ish interior again

Just changed battery for X70 CKD. Fyi, Camel DIN75L does not fit perfectly in the spot. I wonder has anyone change it before for CKD and what brand to use now

I’m in the same predicament as you but mine is CBU. Not sure which battery is a better one for our car though.

So far I’m looking at Amaron High Life Pro and Camel. Anyone can share their chosen battery?

Anyone can share your FC for full city driving? I’m getting 13L/100km currently. Light footed and rarely go above 2k rpm.

I test drive X70 Premium version first time today

Is it during idle position the car need more pedal press to move ? Under normal mode the delay lag is like 1-2 sec late before car move. Not sure because 19 inch wheel or other setting.

Seems like the pedal not sensitive or the car too heavy. Other than that all area is good

Where did you change the battery? Did they connect another battery or keep the engine running when they swapped the new and old batteries?

When I got to my car after dinner early last year, it failed to start and shows "battery low please charge". Engaged Carput for replacement and they tried few types from their van. End up, Amaron / Din65 is the only one that fits. Battery was changed without engine running. Didn't have any problem after that.

It is normal. I think thats work 'by design', as you press accelerate it slowly release brake. Otherwise accelerate not enough car will slide backward on slope
