Anyone with X70 has already experienced issue with the aircon?

My aircon is acting up strange, need to adjust to 22 degrees to even somewhat feel the coldness (23 to 24 previously already very cold). Also today I found the air fan sound getting bigger, like need bigger fan speed to have air blowing out and having more blow air sound.

Not sure I am being paranoid or indeed something wrong with my proton? I think this will be my last proton car. It seems this proton car (when compared to vios) really has a lot of small problems here and there. The kek kek sound coming from my backseat still not fixed despite being sent to the workshop twice to fix it. Put tapes around the hinges, changed absorber, etc. Sound still there. And it is not that thing behind the seat that you can pull. It comes from the clip that clips the seat to be back.

The workshop people even lagi good, says need proton to teach them how to fix the problem. When I contacted Proton, they get the workshop to call me. Endless loop of horror.

2 months old x70 had an accident on 2nd day raya. just went out for grocery and bang in front of house junction.

real tough car. i can feel the heavy bang i thought the car will hurt badly

Why not send it for warranty? If SC A unable to resolve yours, send it to SC B. For AC, found my unit cold enough for 24C on noon time, auto mode. Night time usually let it 25C manual fan speed 2-3 bar.

If you follow x70 fb car group, there are few area that causing the rattling sound. So u can start to initiate from there or again send to sc. Saw 1 post, he able to resolve his at SC on rattling issue. My car don't have rattling other than sound come out from my child seat.

The absorber, it is known issues on ckd variant. They resolve it by changing back to as CBU absorber under warranty. So far, the Semenyih SC done great on service.

I sent it twice (one time to change absorber one time normal serving), they can't fix the problem. Claiming proton needs to teach them. I doubt going to other workshops will yield different results since it is more trial and error. The rattling sound always come back after a while. Meaning when you drive out from workshop the sound isn't that obvious.

Do you mind sending me the link for those rattling sound? If I let down my rear seat, ie the back seat touching the bottom seat, then no sound. So it has to be the clip/hinge that making the sound.

As for the aircon I have to wait until the next service in Sep to change the aircon filter and let them do the inspection.

One thing I don't like about the workshop is that they always blast the aircon full when they try to fix the problem. I will see cigarette butt on the mat and the aircon always in full blast after I get the car. Once I got fed up and went in see how they troubleshoot, they actually on the aircon full blast. Not sure if this is what caused the aircon to act faulty. A bit upset now thinking about it.

About the aircond, some owner claim warranty for the AC actuator. Believe it the same scenario for your car. In the nutshell, please follow fb x70 group as many people sharing the problem and solutions.

If it me, i will change to other sc. Typical sc, some are known to only good at normal service but k.o of warranty parts/repair. Some are good at both.

Many thanks. I joined several fb groups on X70 but mostly all advertisements... lol. I will forward the link to proton. Actually I still think is the lock area since when my chair is down no sound. But could be affected too. For SC it is really about the staff's expertise actually. Turn over rate actually quite high, so some skilled ones might not work long. If the next service is not there, I will change to another one. But the next closest to me one also got people complain.
