This weird smell thing is tough. Intermittent, sometimes could be due to outside air accidentally leaked in. Not consistent so very difficult to pin point.

Just like yesterday the front part got the ji ji sound which could be the absorber or outside sound. It happen like for a while. But after I reach destination and until today, nothing. So very difficult to gauge if absorber. I will still complain in my first 1st service but I will not push for absorber change for now if they say no issue with it. Not sure what's the deal with ckd after mco. I know mine should be after mco stock. Have they fixed the absorber issue?

Can I check if you guys who have premium tried the tailgate motion kick? I tried putting my leg underneath or kick around, most of the time it doesn't work. Have to try many seconds before it work.

Any method to adjust the sensitivity? Seems either this feature is a failure or my car got issue with it. Might as well push a button to open it.

How do you get rid of the occasional message that says not authorise to use? Covers the info unit screen on and off. Putting the towel will not generate the message?

Licensing costs money. Besides it is a China version of android... Meaning I won't be surprise if they decide to move it to the Huawei harmony os out next year. The build in Baidu map seriously sucks. Make me go to ulu roads, sometimes dead end, and a lot of places can't be found.

Bro, my phone p20 pro and used to not work too because I did not enable access. Everything latest including the app in the car. What you need to do is to enable all the access including screen recording or something like that when you link it. They prompted debug mode and i enable it too. And under file transfer mode, never try charge only. I am able to run google map without the security warning etc today. Try it. Regret buying the x70 phone holder at 50rm... now only useful if I switch to iphone! lol.

Mine still able to play music radio in the background, but when map gives direction the radio will be muted. I use Google map BTW.

OK today did my first service. Workshop requested all 4 absorbers be changed, subject to approval. Waiting time around 1 month. Let's see if they actually follow up. Is it really necessary to change, as if I am worried the change might make things worse. Currently the sound only from the back of the car and intermittent.

Anyway really surprised the engine oil they use is Shell Ultra Fully Synthetic. 5L 190rm, not really expensive. In the past if use fully synthetic, normally only every 1 year or 10k km then need to change, but now is still 5k or 6 months. Maybe it is because of Turbo engine?

Hmm... when I test drove XV a couple of months back, I just feel it is a solid heavy car. That's all. As for x70 being comfortable, I don't know what's your definition of comfortable. Personally I find x70 jumpy, especially over hump or holes. Maybe because it is higher and 19 inch wheel which I think overkill. I don't like this jumpy feeling. Also soundproof for x70 not there. Maybe it is the absorber. One thing I found out today is after I park my car at home, off the engine, I hear a lot of click click tick tick sound all over the car for over 5 mins despite engine off, etc. Not sure if it is the sound of expansion or contraction of whatever. Only today got this, I will see if tomorrow l continue to have this strange sound.

My next car most likely will go back to sedan.

Maybe it is the absorber or the cover behind. Waiting for spare parts to come. To me always some sound intermittent here and there. Maybe is because for the first few weeks I drive without music so any sound is easily heard. Intermittent though, so far haven't found any consistent sound.

BTW anyone here figure out how to activate the 360 camera using a shortcut or pressing a button longer. Currently I have to go to the main screen, slide left then press the 360 icon. Which is quite troublesome while driving.

This new map real time traffic not sure works. Navigation seems better, but map itself is worse than baidu for my area. Baidu despite a lot of places cannot be found, route navigation sometimes really bring me to those ulu dangerous road, at least can still find my condo.

This new map cannot find my condo or a lot of places in jb. Best is just use Google or waze.

Hi there, sorry need to ask what is hold on screen and wait a widget to pop up? I am reluctant to do Factory Setting because need to redo all customised settings?

Today I tried to use easycon (missing icon but activated with Hi Proton), to my horror now I can't even mirror the phone home screen. Anything other than the app, I cannot connect to the screen without the No access or license warning.

Can I check for those who use EasyCon after the update, everything working fine? Or do I just do a factory reset and everything back to normal?

Is it go to the settings for the GUI update, then do a Factory reset? I don't get the hold on screen and wait for widget to appear. Thanks.

A quick update to my own issue. I managed to reset the layout and the easy connect icon comes out. Tried and mirroring anything other than the easy con app doesn't work. Did factory reset, same thing. For those folks, don't do factory reset. Unless you don't mind customised all settings again. Because after I did that still doesn't work.

Finally I click on the nagivation inside the easy con app, then it works. Seems after update desktop mirroring doesn't work anymore. Everything to be displayed on screen needs to be from easy con app. Lazy to explore more. Hope this helps those having same issues.

Did you press home screen or any other apps to see if the mirroring works? Your waze is launched from the navigation icon inside the easy connection app?
