swiftkey keyboard support multiple copy/paste.
thanks for the info. maybe because I'm using gboard instead of swiftkey. my last 3 androids (note 8, pixel 2xl, lg v30+ and s9+) all support clipboard built into the system. so no matter what keyboard you are using, the feature is still there.
