Dont have any guts yet to jump from ios to android.. considet in dilemma..

I'm using ipx as my primay and s8+ as my secondary. One thing for sure is that ios fluidity and app all seems and feels like is built for iPhone while Android feels more clunky.

The main purpose for this phone is for the camera and design as well as the large battery life though. The processor is fine but do bear in mind that Huawei kirin processor usually is weaker when it comes to gaming.

So what is the official price for both model ?

I'm  using both iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy S9+ and I can assure you that the Android in  S9+ is siky smooth at par with the iOS in my iPhone X. Both are my primary phones since I'm using the Maxis multi sim services.

BTW, manage to borrow P20 from my friend who work in Huawei! Tested their AIS on nightmode, work very well! No tripod needed

From "irenic" opinion about S9+, i think he/ she is giving the correct information. Anyway, this is just her own opinion, we cannot said she / he is fanboy just because giving own opinion.

I'm an iphone user, but android phone is getting better nowadays. It's been years that i haven't touch any android phone. I'm also having hard decision to choose between S9+ and P20 pro. But, after so many days of research form youtube and a lot of source of reviewer, i can almost conclude what the comment given by Irenic is almost correct. Again, this is not from fan boy or what, this is what i have read from many reviewers.

I will most likely to go for S9+ as well but some feature from P20 pro is really too good.
These are the thing makes me struggle to make a clear decision when i thought about this..

P20 Pro
- no wireless charging, but this is not entirely bad thing because while wireless charge you cannot use phone to surf net. While charging with cable, u still able to use phone.
- Screen isn't as vibrant as S9 / S9+ this is the truth.
- The speaker is good, but not as loud & good as S9+. You can know when u experience it by yourself.
- Dont like the selfie mode, even u fully turn off beauty mode, u still have the beauty effect that will make ur skin look soft. Hence, u loss some face detail from selfie, but some ppl might like this.
- The notch is not a problem for me, in fact i think the design looks great.
- Battery is a plus, having 4000 mah is something most of the phone dont have now.
- The night mode is totally a deal breaker to me, it is the truth that not a single phone can beat P20 pro for night mode. Not even S9+, iphone X and pixel 2 XL.
- stupid 4k dont come with stabilizer function, but doesn't matter, when shooting video we can use dji gimbal.
- performance in terms of game loading is little bit fall behind than S9+, but it doesn't matter because it still not slow.
- luckily this phone can do multitasking, not just P20 pro.
- i prefer the finger print button at the back to maximize the screen ratio, but since this is the design, i choose to love it, is not too bad.

S9+
- Battery is not as last long as P20 pro
- S9+ screen is the deal breaker for me.
- Night mode with 1.5 aperture is great but personally i think not as great as P20 pro. I'm not sure is the night mode have to shoot with tripod in order to get good photo? because P20 pro can "SIMPLY" shoot to get a good photo at night mode.
- 4k video with 60 fps, this is a plus for those who always capture video.
- selfies are more detail compare to P20 pro.
- Speaker no need to say, u experience yourself, u check from all online reviewer, this is the so far the best speaker you can have right now.
- Bixby button is shit which i dont care about, but the button doesnt bother me, u can turn off bixby as well.

So, i still waiting for more review to come, experience it more by myself before making decision.

What the difference between this than buying retail original.

You might need to disable Touch-disable mode if install screen protector.. some time the sensor in front go haywire if got screen protector.
