Anyone getting from Celcom?
I was thinking to depart my maxis 128 to get this phone at a subsidised cost from Celcom.

QUOTE(cckthechun @ Apr 11 2018, 05:16 PM) i found out that my p20 pro ram would only have 3.2GB RAM available with no app running at all lol ... is this normal? Normal. It's my second day using this P20 Pro. Quite satisfied with it. Battery definitely outlast my iPhone X so I can use the phone to tether and etc |

U get my mean? At least apple can 1 to 1?? Apple also can't 1 to 1 exchange, I think.Unless you bought in Apple Store SG then yes, they'll issue you a refurbished set, I guess. QUOTE(derrickmoo @ Apr 12 2018, 11:35 AM) i experienced this issue before.. but it solved now.. I deleted waze and reinstall. Let it do its thing for a while.i tot something wrong with my waze.. only then i found out.. it needs sometime to download everything in order to run it smoothly.. do give it sometime to download completely.. Anyone plays PUBG here on P20 pro?
Do you notice that the phone is kinda "slow" when it comes to gaming? I can't explain it per say but when using my old iPhone 6S+ for PUBG, I feel like the interface and etc is smoother. |

QUOTE(ionStorm @ Apr 13 2018, 02:40 PM) It's a known issue with Huawei phones. Most developers only spend time optimizing for iOS as a whole and the Snapdragon (Adreno) chipset because those two things represent the majority. Probably the reason why I kept getting my arse kicked on PUBG If you can try turning on smart resolution or lowering you overall render resolution to 1080p. It'll give you a few extra fps. Thanks anyways, just not gonna bother to game on this phone then. |

QUOTE(bosouman @ Apr 13 2018, 07:13 PM) Yup. In terms of gaming. This phone. Proc and gpu. Same here Not the worst tho..slightly on the lower ranks compare to others. On the other hand for ios.. everything is optimized. So.. ya....smoothness.. I play ml for p20 pro and ip6s plus. I can say ip6splus win hands down for smoothness. For pubg on p20 pro. Im having trouble for FINE AIMING.. Responsiveness indeed an issue. I can't even break top 20 on pubg with this phone QUOTE(Scarfe @ Apr 13 2018, 07:56 PM) I noticed my phone is slow on waze, xpax apps, KLSE Screener, and a few other apps. In waze, it can't even load.. Keeps on having route calculation error. Anyone has same issue? For waze, I uninstall and reinstall then okay so. QUOTE(un_id @ Apr 13 2018, 08:22 PM) But phone display.. i think maybe i'm so get used to samsung infinity display.. any other display just looks inferior.. I believe the display is quite good especially when at full brightness. Other than that, holding p20p feels premium, like holding iphone feels (hate to say this but so that ppl understand).. performance aside bcause i dont really test it, its a solid phone and well worth its price.. i'll choose it over iphone anytime.. but hard to choose it over Note 8 mainly due to the note taking functions, and other things on Note 8 is not that too inferior compared to it.. at least for me la However since I'm coming from an iPhone 6S+, I'll honestly still upgrade to an iPhone if I'm not already using the X. But the camera and battery are the main feature I'm interested with so I learn to put up with its drawbacks xD |

QUOTE(hspace @ Apr 14 2018, 12:11 AM) You should check out the Razer Phone then. Around RM2,800 now. Optimized for gaming, and also 120Hz refresh rate, and loud stereo speakers. Company won't sponsor a Razer phone I'm happy with the P20 Pro as it's free, compared to paying RM 2,800 for a phone. QUOTE(Kincopper @ Apr 14 2018, 03:12 AM) This p20 series are design for camera not for heavy game. Well, P20 Pro is kinda a flagship phone for Huawei. For Gaming Android sure go for SD 835/845 & Apple ios. Expectations for it would be to perform averagely in some gaming. Anyways, the camera is indeed the main reason I bought this phone > S9+ so it's okay la. Wait another few more years then change again |

QUOTE(kevin23 @ Apr 14 2018, 10:57 AM) Who the hell plays heavy gaming on a phone? Its not even nice to play on phone. Try playing pubg on fone. No fun at all. Better play on pc. Unlike you, I don't have a powerful PC at home to play PUBG.Light games run perfectly fine on this fone. So, I play PUBG on phone. What's wrong with that? Helps me kill time when I'm waiting for people and etc. |

QUOTE(kevin23 @ Apr 14 2018, 11:31 AM) Udont need a powerful pc to play pubg. A decent one which probably costs the same as ur p20p will do. You don't seems to get the point and resorting to rude words to defend your failed argument.Phones were never made to play heavy pc based games. Try playing fifa on ur phone. Totally not nice to play. For light phone based games like clash royale they are perfectly fine. To complain about ur phone not being able to play heavy games perfectly is plain dumb. There is nothing wrong playing pubg on ur phone, but it is not a dealbreaker in making a decision to buy a phone. I have tried pubg on my phone too but find it totally not nice to play at all. PUBG recommended system requirements » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The GTX 1060 alone already cost around 2k without the other parts. The only gripe about the phone is it's a flagship phone but lags behind in gaming compared to other flagship phones. No fanboyism intended. If you can't get that, too bad then. We can agree to disagree. P.S - Fifa on mobile is not even a proper port from PC/PS4. How to enjoy playing? P.S 2 - PUBG runs fine on an iPhone, which was optimized. Or perhaps a Qualcomm CPU. I have no exact idea. But saying that heavy gaming for phone is not suitable is not correct. QUOTE(killer zone II @ Apr 14 2018, 11:34 AM) Yeah, unlike some rude people who don't understand our problem |

QUOTE(daimon @ Apr 14 2018, 06:20 PM) hello guys, just wonder is Huawei P20's camera better than Iphone 6? I have an iphone 6S+ and I am telling you, this phone's camera is literally from another world.currently using iphone 6 but just take photo at night really cant make it. saw Digi offer the plan but i dont understand how much i should pay for the instalment per month... Ask your gf to selfie with it. She would love it to bits. CONFIRMED. QUOTE(Seng89 @ Apr 14 2018, 06:32 PM) I think the right word would be ->Some games are not optimized for P20 pro. But it's not too bad lah. And yes, the camera is the main reason why you buy. And the battery life is GOODDDDDDDDD! |

QUOTE(un_id @ Apr 14 2018, 07:08 PM) Iphone 6 is very old.. not even worth to compare.. the answer is clear.. unless if you are deciding between iphone 8 or this IPhone 8 also no match la honestly. QUOTE(calintztan @ Apr 14 2018, 10:47 PM) Been using for few days and noticed that the standby life is not as good as I thought. Fully charged at night and next day morning left 90++% instead of 100%. Got some background app draining the battery. Likely Facebook or messenger. Try uninstalling them lol. |

QUOTE(ChuanHong @ Apr 14 2018, 11:09 PM) Battery life of p20 is moderate to me. Not bad but not impressive. If at home and connected to wifi and don't need to receive calls and etc, can off mobile data also. Sometimes weaker signal makes the phone uses more battery as well Basically Facebook consumed most of the battery life. My full 24/7 wear OS also keep prompt the intensive apps. But I believe Bluetooth doesn't take much of battery life. So I strongly suspect Facebook really took a lot of battery life from all phone |

Cool. I'll just wait for it.
Been using my macbook charger instead of the default charger given by Huawei. Izzit much faster compared to the usual type C charger? No time to even take it out of the box yet |
