I have sold my P20 Pro for Vivo NEX.
Still miss the 3 lens camera but hopefully, Huawei makes bigger screens. 6.1 inch too small for this old man lol. |

QUOTE(creezalird @ Sep 3 2018, 12:54 PM) Recently bought a P20 for my wife and just let her use it like normal. i use p20 back in April and i been traveling here and there, not once had a issue with the gpuOn one fine day, my wife got lost and needed to use Google Maps, which was not working. As she got back home, I have checked, the phone won't lock to the GPS at all, even didn't see any gps satellite from the GPS Locker app. It seems at least in this LYN thread, almost no people reported about GPS issue But in FB and Google, lots of people are complaining about GPS issue. Some got it fixed by sending for repair, some just uninstall reinstall Google Play Services and lots more. Except sending for repair, I have tried almost all suggested solutions on the net. So the question is, should I send for a repair? Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(nickchk89 @ Sep 3 2018, 10:51 PM) might be a faulty unit then, or some update might messed up the phone too (based on forum/group).well I will monitor it first for few weeks and see. If nothing changes, will send for warranty claim then. |

Just wanna update.
After updating to version 152, my phone battery drained very fast and scrolling was weird. I tried many things including clear dalvik cache and recalibrate the battery but no luck. Problem still persisted. Then I backed up and factory reset. Now the phone's battery drain is same or better than before update and scrolling is very smooth. |

Try dalvik clear. Should clear up most buggy problems like gps.

Hi guys, I've just got my p20 pro.
Is it worth to update to the latest firmware or just stay put as it is ? Which firmware is most stable ? no gps issue, no battery drainage issue. Another thing i just realized is the camera file size. The size of a 10mp pictures are compressed to around 1-2mb. Is there a setting to save it in High quality? As opposed to S7 which i owned before, although it was only 2mp different (10mp vs 12mp), but the save file of p20 pro is half size smaller than the s7. |

Some reported that the .13x firmware is more battery friendly and GPS good compare to latest .152.Is it worth to update to the latest firmware or just stay put as it is ? Didnt notice about the file size because never transfer the picture taken with it |
