Hi all, anyone here change from s8 to p20? Or owning both phone? Can I have your comment on both phone in terms of battery, performance and camera. Does the regular p20 camera really that good? As I do not have the budget for the pro model so only can choose between s8 and p20. Hope the sifus here can share some of your view.

The pro screen is that much better than the non pro?

What about GPS? I heard some complaint about weak GPS for Huawei phone.. difficult to lock and easy to loss  location signal.

Prior the P20, I own the S8.

1. Battery life - S8 s*cks. P20 is just FINE. Not the best battery (I still think my previous P10 has a better battery and my Moto X4 is killing it.)

2. Camera - both S8 and P20 have very good image qualities BUT, when you install GCam in the S8, damn..Google is really really good in image processing.
Both S8 and P20 have unrealistic skin tones which ASIANS love a lot.
As for lowlight, both are capable. It's a draw for me.

3. Performance - S8 in Nougat is quite laggy but all this changed when it received Oreo update. All the lags are almost completely gone.
P20 is smooth but EMUI 8.1 has some bugs  not related to performance but more on aesthetics (Font size, etc..)

Yeap. I'm using Roboto Regular font now. It did change the font in the camera app! The default one looks cartoonish and not professional.

super duper noob question...when we download the huawei VIP app, it asks to sign up with "ENTER VIP CODE". Only number i see is the membership no. Is that it? I tried to enter the whole alphanumeric, doesnt work. Numbers only, also doesn't work. Am I missing something?
