i read on xda some can play netflix 4k and some cant.
so does anyone tried it b4?

fyi i know the phone screen is only max 1080p.

im asking becoz of the drm certificate,
u either get 480p or 2160p... nothing else in between.

i use on my tv only, not sure on mobile...

but there are only 2 variant... 480p and 2160p
as long as the video u view is not 480p, then the video u view are at least 1080/2160 (depend on ur subscription)

coz above 480p need special drm cert...

u hv highest rated subscription...

jus to let u know, on android tv,
there is a button called "Info" on the remote control.
when u press it while playing netflix, a small info box will pop up on the right corner.
in the info box, it display current stream resolution and speed.

if u ask me how to show this in android phone apps, i donno...

u can try to experience youtube 480p and 1080p quality,
then compared with netflix quality.
if it is not 480p, then ur netflix confirmed is streaming 2160p.
but u only able to view it as 1080p... coz p20pro hw limitations
