Hi guys, need your opinion on rim & tires. I've decided to change to sports rim, but still deciding either 15" or 16" rim. The reason is I just change my tire a few months ago (Goodyear Triplemax 195/55/15).
If I choose 16" rim, need to change to new tire also but if 15" rim can use same tire.
Need feedback here on anyone using 15" sports rim here

I changed my front tyre to CC6 today, then swap with rear tyre.

Noticed that when driving about 100+KM/h and steering slight left/right by following road, Traction Control light on and it seems auto apply break for me.

Not sure if it's skidding. 

Is this normal for new tyre? Will it improve?

I found 15"×7jj & current tyres is 195/55/15
Is it good sizing as I cannot find 6.5jj
I tried to check the sizing online.. 195/55/15 is minimum size for 15"×7jj
Not so sure to proceed or find 6.5jj first...

Hey guys, just want to ask persona 2016 users on their 90k Mileage who services at Proton Service Centre.

I just got billed RM 2k for the following charges as per the image.

The service charges are a bit overkill? or it is normal?

My car is about 4 years plus d. Mileage service is 90k km.

Free service I think only for the first 20k km and valid for labour only.

How often need to change water pump??

For the N95 filter, I opted in myself actually.

For the brake pads, they told me after investigation, for safety reasons better change LOL. Being the noob in car parts and car maintenance in general, then agreed to it.

For the timing belt, yeah, usually it is 100k km need to change but i just find it strange that they put in so many things as necessary service.

Do the Proton Staff serving me gets a commission based on sales?

Front hood Bonet damper Persona VVT

Hi guys, I would like to get some of your opinions here. My 2017 Persona started making knocking sound when turning the car or going over rough road. Sent to service centre, they disassemble the steering rack & said to me I need to change the steering rack.

As they have checked the other parts of the car & no issues with it. They are quoting me RM900 for the steering rack.

Would it be cheaper to buy the original part outside & change or do I just agree for the service centre to do it? I still have warranty until end of 2022

I've can hear annoying sound while driving. Tak... tak... sound.

Suspect coming from the passenger side rear window. If I wind down & up the window a little, the noise disappears. Will be back after some time though.

Anyone have similar encounter? Solutions?
