Is he trying to play god ? If he has a large following doesn't mean he can do whatever he fancies and at his whim. Even if the product is mediocre, reviewers should highlight it in a professional manner.
That shows how reviewers can be immature morons sometimes. Products by companies are functional. It's just some are better than others. There's no need to bad mouth a company because the reviewer don't like it. But some users might like it.

Patience being rewarded finally. Worth the waiting I guess. Looks like we have gotten ourselves a 3080 at last. And very nice models too.

It's not cheap. 4k++ for 3080
Positioned as a card above the gaming x trio.
Design looks bland. Even Strix and aorus looks better than it.

Any member here using iGame RTX3080/90 Vulcan? targon do you have? Wanna check something
*
Sorry, didn't managed to get the vulcan. Ended up using aorus
Perhaps some other member has it ?
What i know from review is the card defaults to reference clocks out of the box.
Activate the oc button ( turbo bios) will +50 w to power target and boosted clocks.

This PSU talk seems never ending. It's simple. When on high end hardware + OC , preferably at least 1kw or 1.2kw (quality psu).
Just throw it into rig and don't have to think about it next several years. Period. Finish story.
I have Corsair Ax1200i , HX 850 n a Seasonic P860 Platinum. Oldest is the Seasonic being 8+ years and still going strong. Running out of power with PSU never really bothers me.

really fascinating watching how people brain works.. based on one dumbass shit talking a brand that would have graced his shitty comp...
kindda makes that claim this low quality forum true..

Very amusing to see ppl are willing to throw 3k to 8k (maybe more if bought from scalper) for a 3080/3090 (and the associated bragging rights with ownership) and yet when it comes to PSU , some fellas are hesitant to come up with even 1k for a quality PSU.
Or my gf, relatives, friend, associates, pets Will laugh at me for having this particular funny brand in my rig that sort of mindset.

Anyone knows the difference between ROG Strix 3080 OC vs MSI Suprim X 3080?
*
You re better off with the Strix.
Suprim is abt same price locally as the Strix.
That silly dumb guy hype it lar, touting first Suprim card on the world. Utter Rubbish.
It's already available 2 weeks ago. Saw it at the shop. But I don't like the design. And don't expect it can fit small cases.
Techpowerup has a review on it.

I'm curious because people been buying galax, colourful and PNY cards at KK for around 3.5-3.6k+. Seems to be the msrp for those cards but MSI pula lol >_>

I itching for 3080 because of the faster memory lel, can be used in something biggrin.gif
*
That price range same as Kl lar. Who's buying that trio x ? It's overpriced at that price for what it is giving. ventus is no better. Suprim is crazily priced as the Strix.
For what it is worth, u re better off with Colorful card rather than the infamous zotac ( it's not cheap for the stuff u re getting inside zotac).
Who's attracted by the 5 years warranty stuff ? It's like the majority will keep the card for 5 years? Most will replace the card withi n 2 - 3 years. All it takes is a large batch of RMA to sink the ship.

Seen a few times RTX 3080 at Leadtek (RM3299) and Colorful (RM3399). You gotta watch Lazada and Shopee a lot though.
*
Yeah, they update the stock everyday at a predifined time. Just gotta spend time to catch them on the timing.

I just saw Colorful RTX 3080 Ultra OC at RM3399 2 days ago on Shopee. lol

It's better than Trinity definitely.

Ppl just don't realize the good stuff and still defensive on zotac.

Ohh, cool. Colorful msia directly selling the gpu. Haven't seen the store before. It's quite recent I believe.
Ok. Now there's no reason for ppl to say they can't obtain a decent card.

Not as big as Aorus  Xtreme right? I like thicc cards but I wish they were lighter xD
*
Noooo, those aorus cards thicker by abt. A Centimeter than all cards.
It's fantastic on the cooling. I can attest to that, the aorus.
