The beet board is the strix b550 itx on zen 2. Currently afaik all the bioses on all aib still a mess for zen 3. Its the amd experience.

*
It's GARBAGE experience for zen 3. Been scouting other forums incl Ocn. Yeah, issues all there haunting users. A User with 5950x wit aorus Xtreme with no issues while countless ppl like me paired with same mobo having nightmares.
I expect things to work smooth at least at stock settings, but that's not the case.
Returned my new Zen stuff to the shop and exchanged for a 10900ka n maximus xii xtreme . At least I got the stability I wanted.
Pointless for AMD to release it's cutting edge cpu while problems with supporting platform not ironed out at launch.
Pretty impressed with the M12E . If asus would produce such fantastic product for the amd platform, it would b godsend.

Sorry if i was missed what was your new Ryzen 5950x issue? I used the new 5900x for a week with the one year old Asus C8HW board being flashed to the latest beta bios and the cpu has set with offset voltage -0.1v, 3200mhz cl14 ddr4 4x8gb have oc to 3600mhz cl14 to be honest i don't have single issue whatsoever so far. I have completed played COD CW single player campaign story used this pc pretty solid.
*
Posted in ryzen section b4. Anyway, it's random Bsod caused by Whea errors even at stock settings. Tested the cpu with the dark hero still same result. Interestingly, there's more ppl out there with this issue as per their posting in other forums.

was mentioned by MSI that this is a an issue between cpu batches (most likely due to silicon lottery) and all you can do is by awaiting for a bios fix from amd. At the meantime have to reduce the clocks on the cpu

Sounds familiar? laugh.gif
*
I suspect this already, also another forumer at Ocn suspected too.
Same cpu model but with different result s from users using the same mobo. Inconsistent stuff . That's what made me mad.

At least Msi are transparent with the zen 3 issues while others are tight lipped.

So far I think no issue using that card. I yet to have enough time to play games for long hours.
Need to discover if my system have issue like what you guys discuss, like hitting power limit and dropped frames.

I did face some weird instability issue ( windows bluescreen and reboot ) but I believe issue with zen 3. I highly suspect memory compatibility issue again  doh.gif  seems not stable enough at 3600 ( I bought tridentZ neo 3600 kit ), so far no issue at 3200  sad.gif
As games utilize more technology ( ray tracing ) and add more texture, it will keep best card busy always biggrin.gif
*
It's the Zen 3 causing the instabilities and bsod. If u re stable at 3200, then drop it to 3200.

I will try spend some time to test it, to know if really RAM issue.

I DONT WANT use my RAM at lower speed anymore  cry.gif
I had that on older Ryzen 1700 system, no matter how updated the BIOS/agesa, not totally stable at 2933 ( was using 3200 TridentZ kit ) and had to use 2666  sweat.gif  for total stability.
Was persuaded by friend to get TridentZ Neo 3600, as 'Neo' version are tested for better compatibility on Ryzen system.
*
Zen 3 has problems at the moment with current AGESA. It's not your ram.
Don't you read other forums and other postings ???????
U re lucky it worked at 3200.

They are identical, just the heatsink/cooler different. With that pricing i think it is definitely one of the best 3080 in terms of price/performance factor.

I just cannot brain people buying rm3-4-5k GPU or parts but cant afford a fkin decent PSU that's like what, rm500 for 850W?
Like those poor posey buggers can buy a conti car with installments but cant afford to buy decent tyres  mega_shok.gif
literal autism there
Fkin PSUs are dirt cheap these days compared to 5-10 years ago JFC

And even back then I would never advised people to cheap out on the PSU lmao
*
yeah, i can't understand that too rclxub.gif There's lots of those weirdos right here.

Nope. Raised RM100 now.
Yeah, I'm using Sound Blaster AE-5. No issue with software and drivers. Get AE-5 Plus now. It comes with Dolby codec at the same price.

Yes, you need at least a decent speaker to appeciate a good sound card or DAC.
*
If you want great sounds , those pc speakers won't the the job.
hook up a dedicated stereo amp or av amp and paired with decent speakers (read: not those snake oil speakers)
doesn't have to be expensive. Even a entry level amp and speakers will do the job.

Those thinking of zotac 3060 can read the review at techpowerup. Stupid card with no auto fan off and worse vrm than the reference card.

I won't said it if zotac has done a better job with the card.
All other cards have at least 8 phase vrm incl Nvidia reference card, this zotac skimp 2 phases off, so 6 phases remaining for the end user.

Oh, fellas just because you pay for a gpu doesn't mean you have to milk it kau kau or have this die die must get back ur money's worth mentality. Lol.
Computing is not just abt gaming , ok. It's buying/owning a Part of technological advances.
owning & getting a 3080/3090 is already a privilege. enjoy it and be thankful there's such product exist today instead of whining all along.
Let's see , Riva TnT 16 megs of ram and today we have up to 24 Gig. TnT days, there's no 4K and graphic quality much worse than today.

oh wow now that's real interesting. luckily mine is the oc version, somehow this morning when i woke up the lazada nvidia official store still has that 1 stock, at 1999. i actually cancelled the order for another store that markup rm50 lol

now that i look carefully the non-oc version also has no white led for the logo. doesn't normally oc and non-oc versions have feature parity? this is my first time seeing such a thing. i think ppl should avoid the non-oc version then, the rm100 savings really not worth it in this case
*
Just realized this, the difference between 2 models with the same name. That's what you gonna get with a brand that is skimping cost on the non oc variant. So it would sell it at a lower price n still make decent profit.

Sorry off topic, but where is intel thread in Hardware Clubs section? got leak ady the next i9 test sample scores very close to ryzen 5800x in both single and multicore. Very interesting to build around rtx3080/3090 system. The 10nm in the future is even more interesting.

You will find more intelligent conversation in OCN forums rather than here.
