It's not about the brand. To squeeze that much ram on to the PCB, some has to be placed at the back of the PCB and only has backing plate as cooling. Only the 3090 has this issue with RAM on the back of the card.

Show that to those pundits talking down on the "CHINA BRAND" mari punya gpu. Lots of them last year, but now they re dead silent.

I wouldn't trust stuff like that, if I am not mistaken that model is usually not the cheapest 3080, even the cheaper brands aren't at 7K without bundle so I would take that with a grain of salt.

All cards launched this year don't have particularly good US MSRPs.

3060 is 82% of the 3060Ti pricewise but performs at less than that.
6700XT generally performs worse than RTX 3070 than the ~$20 US MSRP difference, particularly so in 1440p which is the ideal screen resolution for these cards.

Same rule applies to 3070Ti / 3080Ti really.

Ah I see, thank you I'm looking to play at only 1080p and the current gpu that I'm using now is having overheating problem where it will suddenly shut down while I'm gaming. Still usable just as long as I don't do any gaming.  Therefore, I'm looking for a new replacement gpu or I'll just wait for "prices to drop" so definitely can wait lah.

After negotiation, i just topup around 500. Now running my new 3080Ti. Max temp 70C with stock fan curve, this gpu easily boost to 1980mhz Max. Nice gpu.

I see some problem, i cannot view my bios using DP. When i try HDMI, i can view my bios.

any advice what is the cause?
