QUOTE(andrewtho @ May 15 2021, 09:21 PM) It's actually the card that I wanted so badly, not the 3090 but the 3080 - the aesthetics of the card is such a beauty indeed. Thankfully it fits! Yeah you need alot of clearance for the card due to its size - curious, are you using the support holder to prevent sagging? Heard it's quite a heavy card too. yeah it doesn't really sag much I think, but since it came with it of course I used it haha

I'm trying to find a universal fan holder that can be fitted to the screws of the pci-e bracket. I forgot what's it is called, it is like those used in open air bench where you can easily adjust the angle of the fan so it blows the direction of the air as you like. Need it's name to find in online store lol, wanna fit a small fan to blow on the backplate too cool the vrams

QUOTE(adamtayy @ May 18 2021, 10:03 AM) dell is cunning, most part are mid to lower end thats why, their selling price is competitive However, they do provide up to 5 year, onsite warranty Common period is 3 yr for their alienware series, inspiron, dell latitude, xps series & etc But, about 15 yrs back, dell provide all PCs / laptop with comprehensive warranty, additional extend must add more mula.. at least they didn't skimp too much on the power supply i think

QUOTE(Bonchi @ May 18 2021, 12:26 PM) I overclock, i dont undervolt oh nevermind haha, i play around with 920mV at 1920Mhz. but dam syok, mining + 1 ray tracing rendering + 1 eevee rendering + 1 video transcoding, slightly over 10GB VRAM used, doesn't feel slowdown EDIT: wow so fun, can run 3 blender instances all rendering RT, 16GB VRAM used haha. All procedural texture so my pc ram still enough. But I'm gonna run 2 max to not slow down mining too much This post has been edited by terradrive: May 18 2021, 01:12 PM

QUOTE(Bonchi @ May 19 2021, 10:00 AM) You'll be more surprised on US's price. Dont forget their buying power is much higher so any mcD minimum wage fella also can afford a 3080. So the stock fly away faster than here. The only way they're getting their amperes now as well as most western countries and Australia is like how people getting yeezeys and air jordans... through raffles aka lucky draw for a purchase ticket. Huhuhu. Ayam super broke now for the moving, traveling, testing and quarantine expenses. Almost spent RM15K... stupid covid19. Can buy a 3090 already.

QUOTE(altk1989 @ May 19 2021, 01:28 PM) Still have alt coin...i dun really know how pos would affect the gpu mining, but before that, theres this july eip1559 waiting...lol Cryto price drop and eth limit will surely halt some scalpter, however if theres still not much stock incoming, i think at least first or 2 month you will hard to find it on shelf... Also Nvidia donkey drama on 3060 limit ability, still tempting people to buy lhr card incase another donkey drama occurs again... In the end, no matter what you do, Jensen will laugh in the end true, even gtx1650 4GB non super that can't mine, and must bundled also kena rebut here. WIll take some time. Even without scalped price, inm 3060 already nearly 3k now, 3070 4k+, 3080 5.2k+, 3090 9.5k+. And the covid problem in taiwan, wonder what will happen to TSMC

QUOTE(targon @ May 19 2021, 02:08 PM) Good ! More govt shld banned bitcoin frm the system. it's getting out of hand with the amt of money involved in it. Many ppl incl. the media term it Ïnvesting" , that's rubbish. This is real speculative mania getting out of hand. I would termed it the mother of all Bubbles bitcoin? maybe, but ethereum is very useful with it's smart contract system. You can run systems inside the ethereum's blockchain.

QUOTE(defaultname365 @ May 19 2021, 04:24 PM) Old pic but how many more are there... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Need a law for non-mining purpose GPUs usage - - 'illegal for use for mining purposes'. Easier said than done obviously. I think the future of all GPUs will be nerfed for cryptocurrency mining, making the older 'unlocked' GPUs that much more valuable (even though much slower in gaming performance). nah newer gpus will always be faster simply because the gpu core and vram are more advanced

QUOTE(TristanX @ May 19 2021, 10:00 PM) Original MSRP at around RM7300. Definitely you won't get it. QUOTE(1024kbps @ May 19 2021, 10:08 PM) may be wait ppl mine MYR then the bro above can get it at 2K Joke aside, with the crypto crashed, there are still scalper out there hoarding the gpu. And the newest MSRP is already 10k for the cheapest RTX3090 model now...
