Owell... thanks to that, everyone with good PSU also kena nerfed liao. since it's a power cap.. you overclock also no use....the frame rate will be lower at the same clocks. sienzzzz
Depends on games, some FPS improved from what I read on Reddit
Raiding other people's garage sales thread is uncalled for. If you disagree then just don't buy.
This is a free market, people can price however they like. Second hand sellers are not bound to some invisible rule saying they can't price above SRP. Common sense guys, supply and demand must be taken into account.
All these raiding and trolling is why Garage Sales in so many sections are getting more and more irrelevant in an age of Shopee and Lazada.
Ah, if this can be turned into a consumers activism, it will be great start. Consumers rights in Malaysia is often ignore d n virtually non existent. That's lead to over pricing of products or deliberate confused price to fleece consumers. In Aus, supermarkets will display xxxx price per 100 grams (in addition to their price per pack) be it meat or biscuits or fruits or vegetable, etc. Overpriced of your products, or lousy services; shame on you xxxx company. Malaysian consumers should Wake up !!!
I'm a big advocate for consumer activism, but as cstkl1 mentioned many times, the proper focus should be on companies involved, and not second hand sellers lol
Precisely the point. A lot of us will feel that way. Only in MY, ppl do that. Throwing in Strix into a pathetic build and got the Nerve to post it up, implying '"I have Strix here in a teeny build" but I don't have the budget for other items. Malaysian mentality.
Don't you think you're overreacting a little? Relax
Gamers Nexus Asus TUF review, he doesn't sound very interested in it in the entire video, keeps saying "this is average" ,"cooler nothing unique", *PCB is fairly typical" etc. Are all his videos so boring to watch? Dude doesn't put any emotion to it at all and feels like a chore watching him lol.

Judging from the comments and overreaction from everyone in this thread and the internet, sounds like many will now go for AMD instead, freeing up global stock and demand
People who bash ray tracing and DLSS without experiencing both is just lol. I had my 1050 and 1070 Ti for a long time, I never bashed RTX because one cannot form a valid opinion without experiencing it.
After getting 3080 and turning on RTX and DLSS, anyone who thinks they are gimmicks really need to experience it. You paid for RTX card, so why don't you use it? If you don't or are going for AMD, then why are you talking shit about DLSS?
Anyways -- for people interested in VR and video encoding/decoding etc, 3080 is really a beast.
I can run Beat Saber in perfect 4K (+ 1.5x super sampling) 90fps streaming using USB to my Quest 2 (500mbits), and OBS recording 2x 1080p 60fps additional instances. No slowdown at all paired with my R7 3700x and temps didn't skyrocket like my 1070 Ti did.
Half Life Alyx also runs at perfect 4k 90fps at Max settings, though that game might have a variable quality and resolution system.
