Hard to justify. Its ady that expensive over 5080 and the performance reduction doesnt justify the 4k reduced. If you can have the money above 5080, just a matter of saving a couple more months to get a full sized 5090. 5090D only exist if you want to go legal route to obtain the "best" AI card within China/HK.

The real players comes to Msia/SG/Thai and hoover up all the 5090s (and 5080s then) they could get their hands. Otherwise the 'one eye see, one eye close' places

Very nice but likely will need a new PSU for such upgrades too. And this shit about 12V connector still not settle yet, 5080 is also a risk.

Afaik 4080 didnt suffer connector burn only 4090s. But 5000series, even 5080s are affected. And now 9070XT Nitro also recently got burned.

This promo had been coming on & off since the last month. Only if you like a FE looking GPU and no RGB. MSI Shadow sometimes comes pretty close a couple hundreds more.

But yeah RTX prices are coming to normal levels but it can mean the Supers must be really good for Nvidia to start dropping prices. I would reco wait for it.
