I have issue using PCI-E riser before, yeah need to force it to run PCI-E 3.0

I can boot into Windows without configurating, but Windows wont detect my card correctly ( nVidia driver/control panel failed to load, GPU run on generic driver etc ). So I suspect you can install the PCI-E riser and slot in card, then configure it in BIOS. Should not make any harm, worse is clear BIOS and configure again.

remove psu from wall
remove gpu from mobo
plug in riser
plug into riser pcie slots
plug back wall

Yes, it can get quite toasty on that card. Are you running any OC on it?
I did some undervolting to it and it's definitely better compared to running it stock. Stock voltage a little too high and easily power limit the card. Not to mention the heat it creates as well.
Also because you are running on an itx case?

Do you have an overclock/undervolt profile in MSI AB? Is it still there after updating the GPU driver? Mine disappeared for some reason.

fuh.. how your card cool below ambient. Even custom waterblock wont achieve that.

it’s a thermodynamic law that you cant go below ambient temps. Unless your room is actually way colder or the sensors are busted... or something is leaking

they dont go below ambient. max also matching ambient temps with liquid cooling. But if it really drops below ambient, it’s a sign of heatpipe or radiator leaking usually.

or maybe your room ambient is actually 23C then the reading is correct.

Giga aorus cards runs cool at load when the fans gets spinning up and at low noise.
it's designed for optimal cooling at load.
depends which bios setting u select. Silent setting, fans ramp up at higher temps (60) and has some effect on PCH temps. Not advisable for those with small casing / poor air circulation.
Oc setting , the fans will ramp up at 50 C whether idle or not.
Either way, it's pretty silent.

I checked yesterday and it has slipped to 20-30 working days.

Very unlikely they will cancel. What they can do is long-time fulfillment. If they cannot fulfill you will not be able to buy.

I'm curious to see what the cooling system is in that desktop for 11900KF. I suspect Dell's config is designed just enough to operate within spec and not handle constant 225W like what Rocket Lake octacores pulls for AVX2 workloads.

The 3080 cooler also looks suspiciously similar to their 3070 based on what few pictures I found online, would be interesting to see how that card fares.

Any idea where to calculate the ROI?
