yup.

what's the price? Currently it's the one I wanted haha, cos ASUS showed it ha small heatsinks on the VRAM. I always saw people complaining about their RX5700XT with 95C VRAMS on stock VRAM speed

QUOTE(Current Events guy @ Sep 18 2020, 11:55 AM)
So your PSU has 2 PCIE power slots right, you might want to check the cables that came with the PSU. What youre looking for is the PCIE cable that splits to two 8 or 6+2 pins. Most mid range to high end PSUs have 2 PCIE cables and each cable splits to two 8 pins for a total of 24 pins.

So 1 PCIE cable would be direct from the PSU to 1 GPU power slot as you called it, while the other 2 power slot would be occupied with a single PCIE cable from the PSU that splits to two 8/6+2 pins.
*
One thing I'm curious is, is it safe to use the single PSU cable that terminates to two 8pin PCI-E? Or use two PSU cable that terminates to one 8 pin PCI-E. I had been using current 180 watt GPU with single PSU cable as well as 275 watt GPU, but 320 watts is a lot, somemore aib cards may use 340-350 watts. 75 watts max are supplied via PCI Express slots so like 275 watts go through the single PSU cable rclxub.gif

1. psu single rail doesnt matter
2. the issue is not power delivery but the quality of cable in handling the heat..
*
yes single rail psu, so the cable that came with psu should work fine right?

Since Asus TUF is RM3360 msrp in malaysia but comes with nice PCB and components, how much strix would be?

Gigabyte so expensive this round, ~RM3700 for the cheaper models and RM4300+ for the Aorus. ~1.2KG heatsink can cost like rm1k meh?

Not a fanboy of any brand , but that "strix" quality is just a myth . TUF , Strix , they are all just marketing term . I've used ROG strix 1070 , TUF monitor before, in the end it really doesn't matter and not particularly more premium .

For me I just get whatever available now and not too be fussy on it . As long as it works decently . Gonna upgrade in a few years time anyway
*
1070 is not high tdp so even cheap coolers like my galax runs fine (I've owned asus dual 1070 with even smaller cooler that runs fine too). But this time 320 watt tdp gonna be more challenging, and the tuf already proved to run nice.

3360 is da price. its the price being sold. heck its the price i paid.
low/mid end strix aint da same as higher end card flagship cards.

so yeah be ignorant at your choosing. even when ppl tell u the difference. even hardware unbox dude couldnt belief they are selling this card at this price point..

da current TUF is nuts at this prive point. Put a 3rd pcie, 2080ti strix cooler. and its still strix quality.

anyway one will be in my hand before 9pm. so will judge as a 2080ti ex user on a properly tuned rig.

dam so jealous, I also wan tuf 3080 cry.gif

ok something u guys need to think.

price point.
3080
tuf rm3360
3090
tuf rm7k..

what u think gonna come in between .. theres atleast two gpu price point in there.

food for thought for those belum dapat.
*
performance gap too close between 3080 and 3090. 3090 had 20% more SM/RT core/Tensor core performance over the 3080. At most I can only think of 20GB variants. a 20GB 3080ti variant would be too close to 3090 realm.
