I didn't say it's was an upgrade. And if it isn't different from other phones, name me one SE phone that is slim, includes Walkman playing capabilities & a 3.2MP camera.

It's obvious what SE is trying to do currently with the slight differentiation in its products - variety and that's what the mass market are looking for. Sure, this is disappointing to the early adopters but as SE has established itself in the mobile phone market, capturing the mass market is possibly the wise move at the moment (And with Nokia putting so much focus on high-end phones.). I doubt that the SE high-end phones have been cancelled in favour for the mid-range, instead they were being pushed back in order to avoid clashing with their new strategy. It does come with a consequences as there are fans who got tired of waiting. Hence, if you want cutting-edge phones and can't wait any longer, switch brands but SE, by no means, have made a wrong move.

What to do. They're the manufacture. The phone hardware is in their hand.
Maybe this phone target are those not so professional people in taking photo ?
Just my guess.

their target has gotten out of hand IMHO. disappointed with the new range of phones they have to offer although some of them looks sexy indeed.

Second that. Albeit lots of model from them, seems that most of the model have the same spec with older phone. Maybe it's the way they earn more cash.

i guess repackaging and giving old models a new face lift is part of their marketing strategy...well, like it or not, ppl are still going to rush ahead and buy them...

a super upgrade from old skool SE T630

with SE getting more profit, we'll get to see more new models sprouting out like mushrooms... but this gimmick won't work forever, they need to get something new, fresh out soon...(to get more gadget freak's attention and earn more...)

i dont think the button going to be difficult to press/handle. just like w900i.

large space in between each keys prevent you from accidentally pressed the adjacent button (common in keypad where buttons are connected to each other).

if only the keypad gives good feedback and soft enough, like w880i. at least unlike bar shape w880i keypad, this won't easily cause sore thumb after long usage maybe.

The price for de T650 seems quiet expensive leh....around 550 Euro
