this phone is using single LED as flash only.. maybe they dun wanna implant a xenon flash in it coz its not a K-series or under cybershot lor..

i think they're trying their hardest 2 diversify their phone range...thats y the revive of the T-series n S- series

Yeah. Maybe. If every 3.2MP phone come with Xenon Flash, people will never feel anything special like K800i / K810i.

Yup, apparently it has Walkman 2.0 capabilities and compatible with the bluetooth headset HBH-DS980 (Noise Cancellation feature and all.)that was announced yesterday too. Shame that it still uses ancient video recording technology.

Another reason is that SE wanted to keep the phone slim.

i dont understand why SE keeps on having video recording in ancient resolution only...with the exception of w900

I'm pretty confused too, if you look at K610, that one doesn't have a very good camera, does it?
This one looks like an upgrade of the K610 or W800/810, with a slim and more 'hip' design. The T series is gonna be a continuation of their slim series maybe?

The P1i has already moved on to QVGA, it would be great if the T650i would have that too... oh well.

There're still some new phones in the vault and hopefully those could record better videos.

IMHO all mid to high end phones should ha QVGA alrdy

Specification is more or less the same? I beg to differ. If you're posting this in the W610 or K550 thread, then yeah maybe it is. But this is a high end phone in its own right. It combines the slim design of the K610 (Which proved to be popular in the mass market), the media player capabilities of the Walkman & 3.2MP of the Cybershot series. Yeah, the video recording is disappointing and the specs aren't anything new but it's definitely not similar to its contemporaries.

Yes it doesn't have any cutting edge technology - 5MP, GPS etc... the screen is small blah blah but at least with SE, you know you're getting a reliable with a long-lasting battery phone. Can you say the same with other manufacturer? It's a trade-off.

How can you differ these phones except for the build material,color and slightly newer interface.The difference are too minimal to justify an upgrade. Well actually i believe sony is killing off their own model or should i say promoting the erosion of their own product with so many similar attempts in the market with only slight differentiation.

Its worth the purchase only for one reason imho, its a new phone.

well, one thing for sure is that SE's series are easier to remember..at least for me..the camera doesn't have a lens cover? that's quite a let down...

one thing i do hope is that SE will put bigger screen for their phone...

SE no doubt is good, but they keep using the same thing over and over again. Walkman, Cybershot, or Slim combining everything. We had seen many models of these.

And what we need is cutting edge technologies. such as GPS, implement TV in phone, High frame rate VGA recording. And adding these feature is upgrade. Not combining some ready or available feature.

tell me about it bro. i'm disappointed as well. implementing a lame LED light on a 3.2 megapixel wouldn't make me go 'wow' on SE's thoughtfulness in maintaining their market.
