To me, since all the deals are confirmed then I'll just just standby the club's decisions. I support the club as a whole after all.

I used to dislike CR7 but since he's 1 of us now, I'll just support him just like every other players. The same goes to Leo.

Compare to Leo, If Vidal does sign for Merda then he's much deserves to be hated and boo-ed by the ultras. So much for the "I won't join any club other than Juve in Italy".

PS: I wonder how he'll cover that scudetto tattoo he did from winning it with us biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

well, Juve fan are mostly forgiving & respectful bunch. As long as he didn't pull a "Bonucci" i think he'll be ok though. And i read that Vidal probably joining Barca instead

QUOTE(Jusstatic @ Aug 3 2018, 08:16 AM)
yeah.. we beat MLS all stars on penalties. last season, a team with ronaldo (real madrid) beat MLS stars on penalties as well and they went on to win the UCL. this year, our team has ronaldo and we beat MLS all stars on penalties too  icon_idea.gif  biggrin.gif

one can only hope bro

QUOTE(McF7y @ Aug 3 2018, 08:17 AM)
I dunno what to say guys, for the last 7 years, Marotta, Nedved and Paratici have done some pretty good work on the transfer market. I would like to think that they know better than us fans. But, you never know, we might be right after all about disagreeing with the Bonucci deal which basically cost us two players.

The season is starting soon and to me at least, although I don't really see the logic behind this Bonucci deal, it would be a waste of my energy to channel it towards disliking this guy - although deep inside I think I do, especially after how he left us etc. But it's a done deal and time will tell how he redeems himself, if he even manages to do so.

Kinda sucks that, like many of you said, this really does take the hype off the CR7 signing. But hey, hopefully when he starts scoring like nobody's business, starts being the game-changer we all know he can be, we can all forget about the Bonucci deal and if Bonucci does well and solidifies our defence, so be it.
*
no one can blame us if we did(disliking Bonucci)

our hatred & disliking for him were justified for the stunt he pulled against Juve. Only time will tell if most Juve fans will accept Bonny once again

so the matches can only be watched on your phone? maxis is not listed in the payment page. so i would need a celcom or a digi line for it to work? what about a digi pre-paid. will that work?

Vidal joined Barca for the fee of 20M euros

i guess anywhere is better than joining our direct rivals though

as for the quote by Nedved? Perhaps they're looking at another reinforcement in midfield? But with Serie A kicking off in 2 weeks time and no new rumors regarding Juve mercato..i think we probably wouldn't sign anyone after this

Yea, that's what I think too. A bit too late to sign someone right now. Unless it's one of those deadline day signings, but I doubt that will be the case. Man Utd also seem keen to hold on to Pogba. I still think we could use someone extra in midfield though, but the options available now are not many; with SMS' asking price being so expensive, it seems even Milan is put off.

Also, did anyone watch the second part of the Juventus First Team documentary by Netflix?

I personally thought it was all right. I felt like something was missing though; I'm not quite sure what it is. But a pretty good account of last season for sure. One thing it made me realise is that our rivals and competitors have definitely improved last season; hence it being one of the tightest league races Serie A has seen in a while; the documentary narrator also said it was the tightest league race in all of Europe!

So this season, even with our new signings, the competition has stepped up leaps and bounds; Milan, Inter, Roma, Napoli, Lazio and Fiorentina...I think will be giving us a hard time.

While I am quite sad to see Higuain leave, I think it's time for the Kid to step up. He's had about 3 seasons now under Juve and now is the time for him to decide whether he wants to be the talismanc Juve number 10 or disappear into the shadows. I have a feeling that if he doesn't step up; he'll be sold next season. The arrival of Ronaldo I think will benefit the team in more than one aspect; winning games is one thing but I think and I hope that his work ethic, determination, motivation will drive the team especially the wingers and strikers. I also hope Ronaldo doesn't forget that Juve is a different beast compared to Real and that he doesn't expect the team to be working for him; it's all about the grinta.

if i had to pick between resigning either Bonucci or Vidal

i would've pick Vidal in an instant. And with his 20M price tag(maybe due to his injury record at Bayern), we knew he'll thrive again at Juve

That's if his knees can hold. While he's still good but his best days were long gone from quite a number of I matched I've watch when Bayern was playing.

Khedira was never the fastest nor having the most talent since his younger days. His ability to read the game and his off the ball movements and positioning are criminally underrated. I'm still happy to have any reinforcements in our midfield. Just kinda sad that Khedira gets a lot of blame when things went south.

Nedved said the mercato is yet to finish but Max indicated the market is over, lolol. Hopefully we will sign a midfielder who is an upgrade compare to anyone in our squad.

you are not wrong with khedira and his smart ability to read the game. however, our midfield needs a more dominant type of player moving forward. khedira will do well with a more dominant midfielder. without one, khedira is ineffectual. maybe in the serie a he is fine, but in the UCL, we will get overrun as seen numerous times sweat.gif
