DONE DEALIO!!!! DONE DEALIO!!!!

We have lost 7 CL in 9 finals having won just twice. Ronaldo better win at least once with us out of his four years contract!!!! He is among the oldest 100mil player but who out of harry kane, sergio aguero, robvert lewandowski, kylian mbappe can claim to be better than him on current ability? None. Only Messi is on par. We are getting the top two player in world football

Juve didnt get lucky. We are not a small club like PSG or Atletico Madrid whom punched above their weight (football fans whom started watching football starting from 2006 would not know shit). Juve was the 3rd richest club in the world prior to the match fixing scandal. We used to buy huge: highest money paid for a gk (gianluigi buffon), highest money paid for a right back (france's all time national team apperance and greatest right back lilian thuram). We are slowly and surely climbing back to our old prestige! Its being 12 years since the scandal happened. 12 grueling years... We are seeing some light now. We are not there yet, but we are on our way now with this signing cry.gif

Wow, I really dont how to react to this news, never i would hv thought cr7 will be joining us. My dream to see juve win ucl might comw sooner, only regrets if we finally wins it, our buffon no longer with us. But i also concern and hope nothing like alves leaving after a season,or zlatan due to the calciopoli scandal.

yes he has signed for PSG unfortunately. i feel for him. he left ronaldo comes. whats worse will be ronaldo scores against him again WITH JUVENTUS. now that will hurt bad

by the way the juve store website cannot be accessed now. probably due to high volume. probably alot of C Ronaldo fans coming over. sweat.gif

couldnt care if they are fake juve fans as long as they buy jerseys and help create awareness and market the club and increase its popularity further

2 surprise news for me... I would love to see Buffon retire at Juventus same as ADP... But both choose to end their carrier at different club. Good luck to him... Who will be the next no 1 jersey next season. With CR move to Juventus... Hope will encourage other good young player like Dybala to stay perhaps.

they did not choose to leave juve. our mgmt decided not to extend their contracts and they left like true professionals they are. they love the club to the core. went to serie b for it. del piero has won the cl with juve back in 96. what pains me is buffon came close three freaking times and now that he is gone i must support against him from winning the cl somemore cry.gif

our next number 1 is the former arsenal clown wojciech szczesny (need to copy and paste from google rolleyes.gif ). He has down well in italy, winning the serie a gk of the year in 2017. Bought Matia Perrin the best italian gk not called buffon for peanuts. He will fight wojciech szczesny for the number 1 spot. dybala will stay. ronaldo is not stupid enough to come to juve to play with stefano sturaro or biase matuidi only. the only player likely to leave is gonzalo higuain. He was bought for 90 mil and he is good, but not enough to push us to the CL win

ronaldo still wants personal glory. honestly i do not like him. he has pattern more than badminton but i have to support him now. he wants to win titles in different countries + help us break the CL final jinx (we lost 7 out 9 finals only won 2). he wants to be the undisputed greatest of all time ahead of messi (i still feel messi is the GOAT for me) juventus wants him to promote our brand further. We already become the first club in europe to have a hotel, , an international school and a shopping mall + win that god damn CL. its a win win for both

so how can we afford him then alot of ppl might ask? isint PSG, man city, man utd way more richer than juve? juve is not famous for pulling off transfer like this. true. but ronaldo is not any player. his is the most popular footballer and the top 3 most popular sports person in the world and he has not become crap. he still score goals like crazy. he score big goals. hence our parent company (the biggest investment firm and forbes 20th biggest company per revenue in 2017) stepped in. they do not like to be our sugar daddy (they want us to be self sustain) like what psg or man city have. but this is too big an opportunity to miss. they want him to be the face of the other companies they own: Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, CNH Industrial and Ferrari

and you know whats funny to round off everything? Ronaldo is bought on installments laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

CR7 as new face for juve is splendid marketing strategy. I do agree the man can win games and hitting hat-tricks like crazy, however he need to be handled like any other players. he is not the king in turin. will he be new king? only time will tell. if he can turn into good guy, ie conribute more to team goals and win more points, he can be new king. the throne is still empty ...

FFP tells you not to buy beyond means, ie spend more than 5mil more than your revenue, and clubs who posted losses more than some amount (about 30+ mil) need to be investigated unless they have rich investors. traditionally clubs made loans to buy players, now no more, it's all based on income. serie a club like parma/fiorentina went bankrupt because of poor financial planning, so FFP should hinder bad spending. ac milan post red figures for the past 3 seasons, and eufa is a bit concerned even ac milan has chinese backers.
meanwhile juve is buying CR7 on 2 installments, but that is about 110mil (50mil installments + 60 mil salary before tax). this is just about 1/3 of juve revenue which is about 300mil+ per year.

I think it's about time Juve being re-introduced to the world saying that we are big clubs because we have big player. in the past, ADP Buffon was caryying the torch, now no more. it's fit to have CR7. meanwhile players like dybala, bernadeschi need to step up and show they too can carry the J brand.

Juventus buy Ronaldo not just for CL but for marketing value so that Serie A and Juventus can challenge the top 4 in terms of market value.

yes.. previous two seasons showed that neither hugain nor dybala and not even pogba (when he was with us) can carry the team despite their famous reputations. i think in dybala and higuain's cases, there was too much pressure for them to deliver, too much scrutiny about their every game. Ronaldo's introduction can change all that. Guy's a headline hogger, he wants all the attention on him, he likes the limelight and the biggest it is the better he performs. I hope this will free up Dybala especially to step up his game. such big things were expected of him, it is time he lives up to his reputation

Line-up next yr:

- GK The polish GK whose name I am lazy to copy and paste from Google
- DL Alex Sandro, second best left back in the world (if he leaves, MARCELO, the best left back in the world. He previously said if Ronaldo goes, he goes too laugh.gif )
- DR Joao Cancelo (this guy is good and has the potential to be one of the world's best right back)
- DC Giogio Chiellini (Our new captain. I rate him as the 3 or 4 best defender in europe. Diego Godin gets my vote as the best in Europe)
- DC Mehdi Benatia / rotation with Mattia Caldara (The next big italain defender must get more minutes. Hope Allegri will not do another Rugani on him)
- DMC Emre Can (i think it is time for Pjanic to stop playing at this position. He clearly can offer more playing slighlty ahead. Do a Xavi kind of role and not a DM)
- MC Miralem Pjanic
- MC Stefano Sturaro our very own Moranne Felliani (KIDDING!). Its either a rotation between Matuidi or Khedira (the old n slow fuck)
- FL Douglas Costa / Mario Mandzukic guy who just broken England hearts
- FR Paolo Dybala
- FC Cristiano Ronaldo

for the time being, i think Szczesny will be #1 choice (bcoz he deserved it, always did well whenever
he called upon)

but if he replicate his performance with Poland in world cup, Perin would definitely getting that #1 spot

Perin, on his day, can turn god-mode as well. it's really close call between perin and szczesny, so it would be interesting next year. it all depends how the GK can marshall the backline

meanwhile CR7 replica jersey now available at juvestore at about 500 for replica and 750 for player issue shakehead.gif

Juve seem to be on a potential spending spree.

Apparently, they are now monitoring Marcelo and Pogba (again).

It's good to know that Cristiano plans to retire with us; I'm already quite keen to see what he can bring to the locker room. Apart from his undeniable talent on the field, I've read that his professionalism is unparalleled. Apparently he doesn't drink or go partying and takes care of his body to be in peak condition. His desire to win also...that runs in his blood and I'm sure the other players will pick up on that eventually.

I guess the only thing that may be a drawback is his age? In the CL, we will eventually be facing the Mbappe's, Neymars, SMSs etc who are at least 5-7 years younger, and I'm not saying that we don't have our own in the form of Dybala, Costa etc but they need to step up I guess when it comes to the CL.

By the way, do you guys listen to the Juve Podcast? https://soundcloud.com/juvepodcast

The host and the guests who come on the podcast have pretty good things to share. I only started listening early this year and so far so good.

looking at Juve spending spree in the past few seasons...i'd still remember Conte's quote prior to his
departure from Juve..that left some bad taste in us...
