Do you guys having problem on surfing web? while connecting throught WLAN?
It keeps saying "No gateway reply"

can i be helped?
*
I think it is because of the connection, not the WiFi. Probably either you didn't setup the security settings or the connection is not available. Nothing wrong with the phone, it's the connection.

QUOTE(WaytoDawn @ Jul 30 2007, 08:19 PM)
Can the wireless router be linked using the USB port? And is it possible to log on to the internet using the phone without switching on the comp? I know i've been bombarding a lot of questions but i really do appreciate the help i receive from you guys. Thanks!!
*
I think a wireless modem router can be hook up to a USB port. And of course you can use WiFi without switching on your PC. That's what i've been doing thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

plague! how did u manage to fix ur slider? the loosen slider is bugging me! heheh

Easy...first you need a Screwdriver, a six head one sized T5, scissors and an electrical tape (the black plastic like tape.).
Remove your batery and the the back casing. Staring from the audio jack port. hmm....what the hell am i talking about here? Check the link below. The one with pictures, not the video one.

Don't you think this is much safer ? biggrin.gif without opening the back cover, so damn risky. cry.gif
It did almost the same thing, getting rid of that "ngik ngik" sound. rclxms.gif

Yes, it is safer. But not very satisfying. What i did, the slider is also firmer. A bit tighter. I done the one in the video, felt almost the same. without the ngik..ngik.. sound only. When you use the one i use, it won't even move. So it vanish the source if the ngik..ngik.. sound completely nod.gif

Hi guys! Got the N95 two weeks ago and I really love this phone. Everything has been working perfectly up till now.

All of a sudden, the Music Player has gone bonkers. As soon as I try to launch the app, my phone will freeze for about 3-5 mins. After I press the mutlimedia or end key a few times, the phone restarts and I get the welcome message. This does not happen every time...it's intermittent. Maybe 2 out of 5 times.

To be fair, I admit it's my fault because I installed 3 apps yesterday: MobiGenie, SpotOn, and Global Race. The first time the freeze happened was after I played Global Race. So I uninstalled both Global Race and SpotOn via App Manager. I don't think MobiGenie is suspect since it's used by lots of S60 users without issue.

So, 2 questions:
1) Anyone else have Global Race (downloaded from Nokia site) on their N95 and NOT have problems? I would like to keep this game on my phone if possible.
2) What can I do to fix the Music Player freeze-ups? I already cleared phone memory *#7370# but maybe that's not enough? What else should I do?

I'm new to Nokia and symbian phones, so any help you can give is appreciated.

1) i have global race, but i dont have that problem. Plus i dont use the built in music player. The sound isn't so nice for the stereo speaker but cool with earphones.
2) What firmware are you using? Have upgraded yours to the latest FW?

Still on 11.0.026 and haven't updated the firmware yet because hefore this I didn't really feel I had to. As mentioned, for the past two weeks, the phone has been problem-free. Only after installing the apps did it (Music Player) start freezing. But I might reconsider updating.

Yes, good news for me! But I'd like to confirm one thing with you: when I played it for just 10 mins, the battery became very warm. Is it the same with your phone? If yes, then I can go ahead and re-install the game.

Thanks for taking the time to post, plague.

I Have Global Race Installed In My Nokia N95 And Have No Problem With It.. I Downloaded It From nokia.com Website Under Applications For E90 (If I Can Remember Well, Or Was It From symbian-freak.com)... No Hang Or Whatsoever So Far.. My Music Player Is Running Fine Too.. I Have To Admit The Graphics Of Global Race Is Nice Though.. biggrin.gif

it is just easy like 123... I done it after 2 weeks use of my N95... laugh.gif laugh.gif

I even try to bend the metal holder inside the phone.. laugh.gif

opening the back case doesn't require to unscrew anything.. just carefully open up the phone will do...

the T5 just to open the metal bar... laugh.gif
