Nokia Video Manager scans and converts any selected video file on your computer to mp4 format.  Conversion types include avi, mpeg, wmv and mov (DivX, XVid, MPEG-2 and  Quicktime codecs).

According to AllAboutSymbian, the current S60 devices that are capable of playing mp4 (H.264) are the N71, N73, N75, N76, N80, N91, N92, N93 and all S60 3rd Edition FP1 devices including the N95, 6290, 6110 and 5700.

As I'm writing this I'm also scanning my laptop for files to convert to the N95.  One thing I can tell you is that it does take a long long time and makes other running application perform very slow.  But then again I guess this depends on how much you have stored.

this software doesnt convert all types of files.its practically not that useful after all.it cant rip dvd too!sigh...any recommendation of good movie converter as well as good movie players for n95?i got my unit from uk. no problem at all with the slider (its made in finland though).mine back cover isnt black but grey in colour.

hohoho...my bad.cos i saw my gf's N73 has a similar aperture(LED OF COS) beside the front camera that flashes when the phone goes into standby mode.that makes me wonder y mine doesnt do the same.anyway..thanks

big big prob here!i tried installing the quick office premier upgrade.the installation key cant be obtained as directed....thus i cant use the software.the biggest prob here is....now since this add on has been installed...i cant even use my original quick office to view any word/powerpoint files....!!wat shud i do?how do i unistall it without uninstalling the original version??

well u see...when u r viewing powerpoint, the full screen is in portrait mode. i wan it to be landscape mode by default ...currently the only way to make it into landscape mode is to slide it phone u.anything i can do to set it into landscape mode without having to meddle with the slider?
