Any one know where to DL mapking R12 malaysia maps?
I need the lastest one...Malsing only hav R10 maps.

I am using the new v12 firmware and didn't face any button problem so far. SMS typing so far so good 
After the V12 firmware updates, i didn't really notice the eeeeee sound anymore. It is pretty obvious on the V11 firmware.

help needed here...seems after i update latest firmware, i cant connect to GPS? is it my position server add?

anyone of u here used 2GB Sandisk for the N95? i heard if u used the 2GB, the phone will become even lag than using the 1GB..

anyone here know here i can get leather pouch for the N95? mine is not included in the standard package..

what I heard are also the same like what u heard from people... 

But after I purchase my and my experience on my unit..  there is no such problems like what they told...
The major problem come from the user.. I think an average user not able to manage a sophisicated phone like N95... 

One of the major problem for this people is, they open application.. open open open.. and just use the Red close button to jump back to the front menu..  the application are still running @ the background.. keep open and never exist the application, how well u want the phone to manage keep open application like that? it just like a PC and u keep Open multiple application and don't close the application properly...

beside, the phone don't support 2GB??  User/Forumer here already running on 2GB without any problem...  I think a lot of comments people tell are those who feel like want to buy the phone but end up with something else and keep magnify-ing the problem of this phone...  just to let you know that N95 already been tested working well on a 4GB MicroSD card... 

lagging??  a phone with a CPU running on 330Mhz still lagging for u, I think u might want to consider a phone with a C2D CPU on it..  but ur battery gonna last u for maybe 1 hours per charge...

What format can run at N95 for Movie or Video ?

first, i am using philips hd950 headphone for music. The original headphone totally lack of bass. Personal opinion. 

Second, the gps software are actually smart2go. Correct me if i am wrong. 

I am actually watching divx on my phone using smart movie. Basically the phone can support almost every encoding depend on you have the software or not.

Don't worry. GPS is FREE. It's just that if you want to get a fast reading without waiting for 2-3 minutes, there's a function called Assisted GPS (AGPS). By using this, you will connect to your GPRS/3G to get the data & it will be less than 10 seconds rather than 2-3 minutes. But if you don't wish to waste money, you can off it anytime.

Go to menu > tools > settings > positioning > positioning methods

& ensure only integrated GPS is ticked.

then go to menu > maps > option > settings >network > use network

make sure it's 'never'

Thanks for replying! How long is the update by the way? The v12 system is fine? nothing wrong with it? Wasn't there some prob regarding the internet turining into chinese? or loss of info? sry for all these noobish questions...
