Sad la... no love for 2u shift. T_T
yes the 1- and 2u-shift are not mainstream (not many need them)
i have some jtk modifier caps. they are good-quality double-shot thick abs caps (1.5mm. don't bother about key shines; they will shine but are still good looking and are nice to type on. just like maxkey, but with cherry profile) beside their weird alignment issues with legends, they are not bad in terms of typing feels.
edit:
gk64 firmware (1.18) and software updates (5.0.0.22) are now available. both tested ok here. (for gk64 pcb rev. 1 and 2)
the software can work with firmware 1.16 also.
note that the following are the simple steps to update the firmware using the offline firmware updater.
DO NOT DISCONNECT THE KEYBOARD FROM YOUR COMPUTER WHEN YOU DO THIS!» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
- note that my gk64's current firmware version is shown as 1.16 (or whatever version number that your gk64 has) if there is no version number in this field, make sure you close the gk64 software first (right click on the gk64 software icon at notification area and choose close to exit the software). close and run the updater program again, and the current firmware version number will be shown accordingly
- make sure the connection status indicator (top left) is green in color. it will turn red when the update is in progress.
- click on the left button to proceed the firmware update. (the right button is to exit the offline firmware updater)
- after the successful update, the current firmware version of 1.18 is reflected in the screen (top right)
- make sure the connection status indicator (top left) is back from red to green in color, and there is a green check mark at the bottom left (the green words means 'device configuration was successful!').
you can close the firmware updater when you see the screen above. that's it.
after the firmware update, the keyboard is set to offline mode of 3, i.e. fn + r by default. just press fn + q and you're good to go.
