shoppe got loyalty point sorf of and voucher, but the it only available if u bought on shopee mall or labelled with preferred, but those item usually slightly more expensive.
recently i bought monitor, i got shoppe voucher, buy monitor on preferred shoppe but price are higher even after voucher discount. shoppe non-preferred are cheaper.

then i just buy on lazada, initial price lazada is more expensive, but after RM40 voucher, about same price. RM2.60 more expensive on lazada, just i prefer Lazada. because shoppe customer service not replying my email here. cant trust their service much. Beside, if you read the TnC on any sales dispute, on shopee so much hassle, on Lazada easier.

The CIMB 2% is only for Oversea transaction.
Shopee transaction is in MYR just the payment gateway is on SG.
The 2% only granted to transaction not in MYR.
So you will just got 0.2% ya. Please take note.

Shopee does not charge commission for now because it want to be popular by attracting sellers and buyers. I think they have done well now by losing a few millions. Most probably they will start charging once they have achieved their target sellers and customers.

Lazada have many charges and lots of overseas sellers. Too many Overseas sellers are bad because most of the things they sell are not relevant to Malaysia and simply pushes your required item to the back of the search lists.

The bolded is no longer the case somewhere around Jan2019 if i remember correctly. I'm not sure about shipping fee part due to i provide transporter. Shopee charge 1% payment fee on me for the type of item i'm selling. Not sure if there is a range like Lazada.


Interesting... may i know in details because i read both side before and it seems similar?.... from seller pov, encountered one or two return/refund request both platform in very seldom occasion with reason being merapu type. selling item for 200 but expecting 5k quality from buyer pov so far ok, both side request return also get back. just takes time.

shopee vs lazada is similar to grab vs uber.
shopee loss about 1 billions USD v lazada could be around 1 billions USD or more in SEA market (for 2018 alone).

Shopee loss about USD 700 million in 2017 while, lazada could be also around the figure or more.

So this is why it is cheaper, free shipping, many coupon, campaign, point.

some times u hv to compare all 4 to find the cheapest.

lazada hv invested so heavily to physho user that they are the cheapest, then 11st as well, then come shopee. so when buyer now compare only lazada and shopee, sometimes both are actually not the cheapest, sometimes u can get cheaper in 11st and you can also get cheaper from lelong.

search more so you can find genuine deals.
there are stiill 2-3 more years for shopee and lazada to loss billions, until investor and market lost patience for the story of market share and subsidize grow, there's when both won be cheaper anymore when they need to start make money.

just like uber and grab, u will find grab's price is getting less deal and more expensive.

they switch their subsidy to grab food.

So far I purchase 11street, no problem faced based on my experience... Anything wrong with the product I guess can reach their customer service to request refund...
