Guys,

My gf wants to migrate from the 6288 to N73. But the best deal I can get from Penang now is RM1600 Zitron set with a 128MB MiniSD card. I don't need a bigger MiniSD card as I have a 1GB MiniSD laying at home. But is RM1600 a bit expensive??? The sellers were willing to accept my gfs 6288 for a trade-in value of RM700-RM750. Please advice.

RM1.6k for an ori set isn't bad.and they're willing to take the 6288 for rm700+? thats good cuz a new ap set is like rm800 and ori set around rm1k+.

try to reply some of your question
-no need to change product code
-no need to format yourself, the software will do for you,so better backup it before update
-512k takes like 20minutes

Suggest yu use a friend's line...1 Mbps or more if possible. I used a 1 Mbps line - takes abt 7 mins only!! Shorter time less risk. thumbup.gif
Good Luck! smile.gif

guys..how to separate the video file from the image&video folder? all my video file save in memory card goes to that folder..i dun want the video appears in that folder..worried of my daughter the 'strange'file there...
U can use the file manager application in the phone to change the file location. But no matter what, all your pictures & video files can be seen when you access to gallery > images & video.

Yes, already have in all phone. You can see when you press the power button - "lock phone".

Before that you need to change the password at the setting ( & can set to autolock after certain period of time)

Got the phone already yesterday. Topped up RM850 for the N73. My gf's previous 6288 is less than half a years old, and it is exactly like a brand new 6288, totally 100% scratchless coz she keeps it in a crystal casing and also in a phone pouch. That's why the seller was willing to accept the RM750 trade-in. Anywayz, she's still trying to get used to the symbian OS coz she's a total noob at it and I have spent like half a day giving her a tutorial. biggrin.gif

any 1 to share how to make the dictionary work?
i hv just got the fone for 1 week..

Just go to this website "http://www.nokia.com.sg/nokia/0,,95907,00.html" and download the "English-Simplified Chinese Dictionary" program. Then by using the PC Suite, install the program onto your phone. Definitely will work coz I just did it with my gf's N73.

nope. i'm not experiencing any issues now, even when i'm not on the latest firmware. however, if you do happen to experience any lag/hang issues on your N73, a simple firmware upgrade should solve the problem. smile.gif

this is not advisable. i've read from somewhere that batteries will last longer if you do not put heavy usage on them while charging. for instance, talking for a long period of time on the phone while it's charging. i forgot what's the main cause but i clearly remember that if you put to much stress on the battery, it will "spoil" the battery and it may even explode. so it's better not to practice that.

but if you do not mind changing the battery often, then it should be okay. but just pray that it does not explode. tongue.gif

I have problems with my N73me recently..
before I upgrade the firmware to latest version ( I forgot what was my version before I upgrade ) when I open the camera slide to take pic, each time after I press the shoot button, it will jump back to main screen instead of showing me the pic sample I have taken, then, sometime it will jump back to the camera again from the main screen. the problem here is I already setup the camera to a specific mode, ISO, and each time it jump to main screen and come back to camera, it will reset my camera setting to defualt.

So I guess it may be the firmware problem, so I upgrade to the latest firmware, v3.0705.10.31 The problem is still exist after I upgraded and I found a new problem, when I am shooting with the video mode, half way it will jump back to main screen and my video shooting was cut down out of sudden...

Camera at the top left has a little purplish, now very serious already..almost all the pics I have taken and view in computer, all images like colour corrupted..

WHen I zoom an image in gallery, all image maximum I can zoom is only 2 times.. last time I can zoom more than 2 times ler..after zoom 2 times it say not enough memory to proceed, but when I check there're no others application running on background..

Can anyone help me solve these problems??

hmm.. since updating the phone software did not do it for you.. maybe you could contact babyk or whoever to give your phone a FULL "reinstallation" of the phone software. it may work.
