Haha I know right.

When I created this thread back in Feb, I was just wanting to ask who else uses this Boost app since I don't any thread regarding it.

Then it went dead for a few months until someone revived it. From then on, the discussions kept going.

I guess the 50% cb really enticed users.

What's gonna happen after 31st August.. Hmm....
*
Boost has been silent recently, hopefully there's something coming next month.

It's good to have cashback, but I'm hoping more on expansion instead.

So far I find that La Juiceria (Pavilion) is the best integrated with Boost.

1) I scan their QR
2) After scan the amt due straight appear (no need to key in manually like Fave)
3) After paid, their cash register will auto confirm and print receipt (no need to stupidly take my phone and copy all those stupid confirmation code)
*
Even without La Juiceria's way of integration, Boost is still not cumbersome as Favepay.

The third point you mentioned is the one I hate the most when using Favepay.

Proven malaysian willing to commit and even learning trying new things if there are benefits. Haha.

It should have been widely used to reduce carrying cash around..

You mean proven to be proud cheapskates?

Good, "hype" dying down in /k, just in time for V2 next month in new section.

More serious discussions and no more cheapskates getting proud of themselves abusing the system for cashback.

Nothing wrong to be a cheapskate.

But one thing in fact, being an abuser to the system is the worst. smile.gif

Big Pay: Boost blocked us.
Boost: Big Pay is not compatible. We have other top up channels.

If e wallets are starting to block Big Pay, I wonder if the same thing applies to other prepaid cards like Mpay Kash?

Is it just a Big Pay thing or it's a prepaid card thing?

Too bad Mpay's card is underrated though.

Are you referring to the card sold at KFC ? How much is the starter pack and what is it good for ? Reload fees macam expensive. Anyway to reload for free ?
*
Yes, the one sold at KFC. But I have no idea about the card, just wondering why no one talks about it.

What I only saw from the banner was you can get like 10% discount if you use it to pay in KFC, if I'm not wrong.

No idea.

Just Google their fees and charges, you will know why
*
I see, there's an annual fee and some charges here and there, even when reloading the card. doh.gif

Not can but won't. They already got 3 million subscribers and 30,000 merchants.
*
If they think they can settle down with 3 million users, where most of it will ditch them after the cashback ends, then they must be high on something.

Yeah, like paying for Unifi bills, might give it a try.

Hope can at least get a decent prize after using their service for a while.

Basically after this no more rewards for using Boost anymore right?

If anyone has any new news, do tag me or inform here, I will update the title.
*
It's up to you, so far there's no one who's interested in replacing and opening a V2 of this discussion thread in Finance section yet.

Shake rewards is still there though.

ya....pls close and get a new owner to manage this topic and make this out of kopitiam
this thread seems out of control. ppl simply discuss other things like TnG and Wechat here without following rules of LYN
*
What's in Kopitiam stays in Kopitiam, it's called Kopitiam for a reason.

I also agree that someone should open a V2 of this thread in other section, but no one is interested to do it for now.

Hold off opening V2 until there's some new development/promotion.
*
There's promotion, just that there's no promotion that's as attractive as the previous 50% cashback.

But a V2 is still necessary, for those who are interested in using Boost, there are many stuffs to discuss about it other than cashbacks. Also, TS isn't active in this thread so yeah.

This is why the thread needs a V2 out of Kopitiam, I'm starting to see rude comments now.

It's starting to get out of hand.

may i suggest you open a Boost App v2 thread under finance ?
i feel that you manage quite well your Wechat Pay thread after it was moved to finance
*
As I said before, I don't think it's a good idea for me to manage two discussion threads at the same time, once Wechat Pay gets as big as Boost in terms of popularity, it will be hard to manage when I'm busy.

I believe there are few here who are interested in e wallets especially Boost, maybe should really consider in taking a step by opening a new Boost thread in another section and manage it.
