Yeah, I just watched the vid, since they're using POS system, I guess it's already running in all outlets immediately just like the KK mart launch back then.

Gonna visit the outlet in Pasar Seni when I have time, hope they accept it.

Red Box now accepts Boost!

Mine was RM 4.05 and shake 20 sen.

Bangla was a bit confused when I said "pakai Boost", luckily there was a sticker showing which e wallet they accept on the counter so I pointed it out instead.

Boost just gave me cashback from KK mart with a SMS that says...

"Thank you for your recent purchase of above RM 20 at KK mart with Boost. We noticed that you did not received your cashback reward. We are truly sorry about this and have credited the cashback into your Boost app. Please check your transaction history. Thank you for your continuous support and keep Boosting!"

Not sure from when, but I think it's when they suddenly change the t&c to "first 800 customers only".

MOL's Razer Pay basically shot themselves in the foot with their flawed rewards and the frequent "system down" excuse from merchants, Tencent's Wechat Pay is stingy af with the lack of awareness and rewards, Telenor Group (Digi) isn't doing much with their Vcash, and then you have other smaller ones which there's nothing to write home about.

Boost is gonna lead the e wallet market for a while that's for sure.

TnG has potential, but only if they can get their RFID and QR Transit available to the mass public, people will eventually will use it as e wallet when it can replace our TnG cards.

More like stupid...

QR Transit is already stable enough to be expanded to more stations and be launched to the mass public, but they're too slow, now only started to advertise it for more people to join as tester.

Overall, TnG app is still nothing but half baked.

Yup, it will only ask on the first time you link your card with the app. After that, it's just gonna be entering the pin straight and then done.

Used to be using online banking for Boost, but after trying out linking debit card, immediately ditched the former after that, although it's less secure but easier.

Mycar billboards listed Boost as one of their payment methods but need someone to confirm.

I don't mind paying those service taxes as long it goes into the right pocket, and helps the country.

Same thing applies here...

I don't mind using Boost as long they make improvements, like merchant expansions and addition of useful features which makes life easier.
