Currently on Hotlink Flex RM60 per month. Will wait until end of August to see if they will revamp the flex line to match with their Prepaid line. If nothing then, i will downgrade to RM35 prepaid.

Saw in one group in fb they say hotlink may increase from rm 35 to rm 38. But do not know when .

Believe in the future Maxis Postpaid will be geared more towards bundle plan with Fibre and/or device contract sign-up.

Hotlink Postpaid is practically Maxis Postpaid, just they don’t want to lower the price of Maxis Postpaid to anything below RM98/month. So they name it Hotlink Postpaid. Then again most Maxis postpaid customers don’t really care about the name but only want lower price from Maxis.

Just switched to Hotlink prepaid, this can be done via call. by default is unlimited plan, need to pay RM 5 to upgrade to Hotlink video. Come with free weekly 2.5gb video data.

Agreed. Hotlink postpaid is geared towards those who wanted to own entry-mid range smartphone and does not want to pay hefty monthly commitment

Also, to get more people to subscribe to their bundle with fiber, giving further savings compared to subscribing separately

But, the lowest tier is made to entice people who wants unlimited calls at lower monthly commitment, this plan may be cannibalized by hotlink unlimited

So downgrade to default RM35 Hotlink Unlimited Prepaid.

Add RM5 for Hotlink Video add-on, gets 2.5GB video data = YouTube?

My 1Gb high speed depleted after browsing FB 4Gb data. The high speed data has throttle down to 40kbps and it affected the unlimited social media speed too. The video quality also become lower quality compared previously. Still have another 11 days before bill cycle. Browsing social media apps no longer smooth as before. Every time view fb video, will lag while wait for loading.

Probably after a month will port out to another telco since need to wait for another 6 months only can change plan to Hotlink prepaid. The 1 Gb + Unlimited social media for RM40 is not worth compared to others.

Did you mean the fb add on that costs rm10 that supposed to be unlimited is actually only 4gb?

I guess the phone bundle will be priced at rm70, since every increment of rm10 adds 10gb except that plan

What about current user who is under phone contract? Since no rm60 plan, so no data upgrade? If so, this is cunning act by hotlink. Their plan valued less than rm50 even though they pay more

The RM40 plan is same as RM30 1GB + special pass RM10 10GB

sorry took one picture only and focusing on the new plan, i just port out last week from umobile to hotlink 60, yesterday went there to port out my father umobile,the staff there said hotlink postpaid got new plan and they just received the info,but still no update at their registration system

i will downgrade to 50 once they officially announce

Usually hotlink will upgrade the existing users to this new plan.

Looks very good. Maxis seems to give other telcos the run for their money.
