Last year I change from Hotlink Prepaid to Hotlink Postpaid Flex then change my simcard to green colour

Other phone can't even select the band
From what I noticed is I can get speed around 60++ mbps before 6pm
After 6pm onwards, speed less than 10mbps

But I tested at night no problem able to reach above 10Mb.

Test for Hotlink Postpaid 30 speed with Fast.com
Tested 5 times. The lowest max speed is 10Mb while highest is 20Mb. The rest fluctuate within the range but it start slowly from 400kb till stop at the highest speed.
The speed test really huge data consumption. 160Mb for 5 times or 16 % of my 1Gb data monthly data. But for testing ok la..benefit for all of us.

You can use your phone's manufacturer's toolkit or engineer mode to disable/enable preferred bands. Some requires heightened root priviledge to do so.

If you've Mediatek chipset phones can use a tool called MobileUncle Tools app to disable certain bands on your phone.

Well is just a simcard
For speedtest, if you are using Samsung phone can manually select the band
As I am using iPhone, I cannot select the band hence the speed is worse after 6pm

sim card not really important as just using serial number to activate the plan + number

I tested outside, my speed around 40Mbps++ and when inside mall basement around 10Mbps++

similar to my maxis postpaid

Hotlink Prepaid's speed seems very slow (3Mbps or 6Mbps).

My Hotlink Postpaid able to get ~70Mbps.

1 is slow but many quota....1 is very fast but little quota...how to compare lol

Well just pointing it out as many people are not aware of it and think that Hotlink Prepaid is more "worthy".

If the plan same with postpaid, for sure no one will signed up the postpaid plan, they have to do pro and con. For postpaid, the telco company can lost money if the user do not pay the bill while prepaid user will lost money if they forget to top up or fail to stay active and lost their credit balance.
I just hope that telco will start to introduce new plan or deal for postpaid user to battle with prepaid plan.

telco must buckle up the service like cap speed , covarage .

For hotlink i like mu offer so far i am satisfied , as for the

rewards program can be improve and need more variety
for their internet plans , i Like top up rm 30 get rebate rm5.00 😊 i hope there will be top up rm 60 rebate rm 5.00

You are using Hotlink Postpaid Flex plan how come can login Maxis postpaid apps?
Is it due to previously you are using Maxis Postpaid that why you are able to login?

I have just downloaded, login and tried the maxis apps. It came out with error message pls login with valid number.
I think must be the green card..I want green card...

Currently using Maxis Postpaid 98, 40GB too much for me

Better MNP to hotlink prepaid?as the 45 hup give 6mbps speed and fup of 50gb+ 512kbps afterwards

Later if watch any video and streaming will not be enough once downgrade
