Off Air, Hotlink Postpaid (Only) does awards its customers lots of data for Free (without any contract). What off-air means?
Means you will get it thru their promotional SMS to you without any publicity on the Hotlink website. As you go along, more rewards awaiting you. E.g. Published data plans + appreciation bonus + data bonus (off air) ... can reach up to 300GB for just RM45 or RM60 plan onwards. This post has been edited by alexleow81: Mar 18 2025, 01:35 PM |

QUOTE(azizul1975 @ Oct 10 2024, 02:07 PM) i recently called the call center regarding this. they say you need to change to the all new hotlink prepaid, only then you can see the new data offerings. the catch is that, for cheapskate like me, for the all new hotlink prepaid if you top up rm10 the line validity only valid for 10 days, unlike current old pantas if top up rm10 validity still 30 days. new pantas is rm10 for 10 days validity?so, if you regularly top up minimum rm30 anyways, just switch to the all-new-hotlink-prepaid in the app.... otherwise, if you just want to keep the line cheaply, stick to the old pantas.... |

QUOTE(GamersFamilia @ Mar 18 2025, 10:27 PM) hotlink prepaid Pantas = top up rm10 gives 30 days validity it work great as secondary number. https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/faq/products/...-pantas/passes/ e.g: when main number need some little data to purchase plan, this backup number comes in handy 😁™️ This post has been edited by Piers: Mar 18 2025, 11:05 PM |

QUOTE(GamersFamilia @ Mar 18 2025, 11:10 PM) rm10 per month and 5gb data for rm10 can be used for a year is a no brainer for backup sim. the flexibility to purchase other plan in app and temporarily make it as main data sim are also welcoming 😁This post has been edited by Piers: Mar 18 2025, 11:20 PM |

QUOTE(GamersFamilia @ Mar 18 2025, 11:10 PM) DiGi advantage is their Always Active validity which follows the Monthly subscription plan you buy. Meaning if you top up only RM5 buy you already have enough to subscribe their RM25 plan through accumulation, your line validity doesn't follow RM5 which gives 5 days active period only, your line will be active following the monthly plan in effect. |

Noted ✅Meaning if you top up only RM5 buy you already have enough to subscribe their RM25 plan through accumulation, your line validity doesn't follow RM5 which gives 5 days active period only, your line will be active following the monthly plan in effect. Great explanation there, thank you 😎 |

Hotlink Prepaid is the same now for their monthly pass.Meaning if you top up only RM5 buy you already have enough to subscribe their RM25 plan through accumulation, your line validity doesn't follow RM5 which gives 5 days active period only, your line will be active following the monthly plan in effect. |

QUOTE(sjz @ Mar 21 2025, 09:23 AM) I still don't like Hotlink and Yes style of splitting up 4G/5G and pure 5G quota marketing. It distorts the market making conditions worst because subscribers will tend to force use 5G in whatever means causing unnecessary congestion to the 5G network. At least with 4G/5G unified quota without restrictions offered by both CD and Umobile, if a 5G network is congested in certain area subscribers still can offload to less congested 4G network for proper load balancing. When you have 5G only quota split between 4G/5G, users will all prioritize forcing connect only to 5G and that will cause unnecessary overload to a 5G subsystem. If you look at Celcom MVNOs right now such as Tune and XOX, their plans are really attractive now just with generous quotas. Their plans include single unified 4G/5G quotas and also fully hotspot friendly without restrictions. The WORST is YES's plans. Claim to be fully unlimited speed/quota if you connect to 5G with very limited 4G quota. Then everyone who buys their plan all only want to force connect to 5G making situations worst. |

Then everyone who buys their plan all only want to force connect to 5G making situations worst. often you will find 5G network to be very slow, congested and high ping while 4G network is alright. probably due to most ppl their phone network options choose 5G preferred. but anyway, this is not supposed to be the 5G quality as they advertised initially. they even choose Ericsson over Huawei and claimed to have superiority, but seem it is not the case. for Yes, i think their aim is to decongest their own 4G network and push everything to 5G shared network. as their 4G can be very congested at certain spot This post has been edited by sjz: Mar 22 2025, 07:25 AM |
