Hotlink Prepaid is the same now for their monthly pass.
I still don't like Hotlink and Yes style of splitting up 4G/5G and pure 5G quota marketing.
It distorts the market making conditions worst because subscribers will tend to force use 5G in whatever means causing unnecessary congestion to the 5G network.
At least with 4G/5G unified quota without restrictions offered by both CD and Umobile, if a 5G network is congested in certain area subscribers still can offload to less congested 4G network for proper load balancing.
When you have 5G only quota split between 4G/5G, users will all prioritize forcing connect only to 5G and that will cause unnecessary overload to a 5G subsystem.
If you look at Celcom MVNOs right now such as Tune and XOX, their plans are really attractive now just with generous quotas. Their plans include single unified 4G/5G quotas and also fully hotspot friendly without restrictions.
The WORST is YES's plans. Claim to be fully unlimited speed/quota if you connect to 5G with very limited 4G quota. Then everyone who buys their plan all only want to force connect to 5G making situations worst.
