i recently called the call center regarding this. they say you need to change to the all new hotlink prepaid, only then you can see the new data offerings. the catch is that, for cheapskate like me,  for the all new hotlink prepaid if you top up rm10 the line validity only valid for 10 days, unlike current old pantas if top up rm10 validity still 30 days.

so, if you regularly top up minimum rm30 anyways, just switch to the all-new-hotlink-prepaid in the app....

otherwise, if you  just want to keep the line cheaply, stick to the old pantas....

for Yes, their 4g coverage sucks to the max. Therefore when DNB build 5G, it is to their advantage to push 5G plan.

I had same experience. I ported out from Hotlink Postpaid and they also asked me to pay an amount before port out and I did. When official bill came, it was overpaid, around RM5 to RM8.  I asked Maxis for refund and they said under their T&C, anything less than RM30, there is no refund.

So, I filed a complaint with MCMC online and Maxis immediately refunded me.

If Maxis tells you the same thing, then file a complaint with MCMC online.
