Check out the Hotlink app. I managed to claim a free 20GB for 24 months and received this SMS as confirmation of activation.

Maybe I'm late already. can't find the free pass under rewards page.
*
Just browsing through the app and see this, under main tab, where there are ads moving to the right one (above what's hot and below Pay Bill, Lifestyle etc)

I see 20GB free, no contract and I click continue, and there is no confirmation whatsoever, the "continue" is the claim already.

I can't find any info online
Hope this is really free

and then, now I see 50GB for 12 months, also free, no contract
got so many free lunch one meh?

Hi everyone,

I'm interested in switching from Hotlink Postpaid from Maxis postpaid 128 w/ 2 supp lines. Can anyone elaborate me on the process on the switch? Is there any down time (most of my concerns honestly)?

I also saw a mention of cooling off period, may I know what's a cooling off period?

Appreciate if I could get some replies especially those that have done the same.
Thanks a ton!

1. You have to decouple all the sup line from main line. There is no supp line for Hotlink postpaid.
2. No downtime, it's just a plan change on their end and you restart your phone to a new Hotlink service.
3. Cooling off period usually refers to a period of time where you are not allowed to switch plan. For example you cannot change from postpaid to prepaid within the first 6 months of using postpaid. However usually change from one postpaid to another postpaid plan is allowed if your line has no contract.

You can call 123 and ask to downgrade Maxis postpaid to Hotlink postpaid, which will take like 2 3 days. They would even try to give you another offer to stay on Maxis postpaid which you can accept or reject. Can also walk in to Maxis centre to do it. However do take note sometimes the staff at Maxis centre not willing to do the downgrade, they will give you 101 reasons.

Thanks for the detailed reply!
Just wondering if I, one person could do all the changes? As my current plan is shared between my sister and my father (I’m the main line). Worry that 3 seperate hotlink postpaid requires 3 different identity to register them.

what is the reason for u guys to sign hotlink postpaid while hotlink prepaid has the same price and exactly the same thing (data and calls etc..)

e.g. the rm60 hotlink prepaid pantas pass that can use the data in lion city for free is the same as the current hotlink postpaid rm70 plan (with discount of rm10 if sign up new but only for 6 months i think) and need to pay 6% SST somemore...

You as principal line holder can do the decoupling. To convert to Hotlink postpaid after that need to be done individually unless all line registered under your name.

Mostly the same answer. No need to remember when to reload or buy passes, just pay the monthly bill as you use. Hotlink postpaid get doubled the quota after you subscribed more than 6 months (loyalty bonus).
For those who need, hotlink 60 and 70 you can buy midrange phone with contract. Lastly those who stay in East Coast & East Malaysia get Rm10 - Rm20 discount monthly.

Any way to pay Hotlink Postpaid for someone else? I have the phone number and account number.

Friend is overseas and is getting an error when he tries to pay. So far I went to http://selfserve.hotlink.com.my but need to login with OTP but not sure when he'll be back online or if he even has that number with him.

This one is true. I totally forgot that I have converted to Esim which their Hotlink prepaid doesn't have.
