Yes. That is why motivation is low.

I have totally no motivation at all, ha ha ha...

Just parking here to get all the updates to help a cousin who's eyeing to upgrade from her Note 5.

I bought it from q10. Where got extended warranty. It doesn't matter to me though. The only time I ever had a screen crack is when my son drop my iPad onto my s6e. Never crack my screen ever since using smartphone.

My S6e survive bare naked from day 1 until now. Never even used a case. Just that I consider getting a case for s8 because of the chrome finish on metal is slippery. I think they should make the metal frame matte finish.

2.5 to 2.7k off 4k is fair. But 1.8 like too much.

That's why it's difficult to buy a Samsung phone at RRP if you change phones often, but it's probably fine if you're buying to keep the phone for long term.

Last year, thanks (or no thanks) to Qoo10, I bought

S8 @ 2749, sold for 2500 (1.5 months after launching)
S8+ @ 2629 sold for 2450 (3 months + after launching)
Note 8 @ 3178 sold for 3000 (pre order)

Imagine if I had bought at RRP laugh.gif

Im using thin matte case , because i love my phone to be clean all the time, dont want full of finger print at the back

For TG i die2 also want to have it , it cant be 100% guaranty to protect your screen to crack but at least it have lower chance to break ur screen

My note5 save 2 time of drop , end up TG crack and sceen stil look good

Ok, great. It could be possible. After all don't believe everything you read on the internet.

Anyway, one just have to take good care of their phone. By that I don't mean you have to splurge on glass sp, or whatever. It's just a simple task, taking good care of it. Would you rush to pick it up because it rang and caller is gonna hang up soon? No, I don't. I can always call back later. Unless you're doctor perhaps. You can also dedicate a pocket for your phone which would then help you develop a habit of picking up your phone without worries. It also train your mind to be aware your phone is there and unconsciously avoid all those obstacles that may come into contact with it while it's in your pocket.

These sounds easy but how many are actually practising it. I saw many holding phone and powerbank sandwiched together in their hand. Not sure why. I would just hold the powerbank and leave the phone in my pocket. Why do I care about dropping a powerbank.

I have seen bad owners very often and I don't have to look for it. My mom is a very good example. Phones that we passed to her never survived except the RN3 (barely survived) which I quickly sold when I gave her my S6e.

True, I used the S8, S8+ and Note 8 back to back, and the additional 2GB RAM in the Note 8 made all the difference.

But I don't like big phone. That's the problem lol.

If you're on pure Android and a little more modest hardware setup, then possible to last the whole day on moderate usage - like the Mi A1 with a 3080mAh battery smile.gif

Won't work with Samsungs though biggrin.gif

Surprisingly the cheaper model ie the S8 depreciates lesser compared to the higher end ones.

That's usually the case coz I imagine those dealers have higher margins with the more expensive phones.

why all sell below market price? You are buying below RRP and also with discounted price should be able to seller at your or higher than your purchase price.
