Oh, luckily.. I first though their cashback payout quota reduce.
It's seems like only travel expenses been removed.
Did it still mention need to do at least 1 transaction per month, else will pay monthly fees RM7.50?

*
1) added 2 items to exclusion: Financial services transactions and Credit Shield, removed 1 time from exclusion: Top-up transactions

2) no changes to monthly fee. remain as is. the revision is to the yolo cashback t&c, not the monthly fee.

in dilemma now, got few 1H/2019 DBKL assessment fees to pay (due end Feb 2019)... paying thru jompay always been fast and preferred.

i did on 1st Oct but i didn't receive any cash back when check Nov statement. Only receive for Jompay campaign, but not for Yolo cashback. Do i need to call them?
*
yolo cb for Oct spending was credited on 24 Nov.

checking Nov statement would not see the cb IF your statement date is before 24 Nov.

did you check PIB unbilled section?

assuming you met all the cb t&c and something was wrong, call cs to find out. else, post all your Oct transactions here (personal info/location redacted) for us to see if there's anything "wrong".

you were right. i notice there is cash back on 26th Nov, but didn't specify for which as still waiting for Dec Statement.
*
which is why using "statement date" to check cashback is not always accurate because some users' statement date is before cb date or some users's statement date is after cb date.

checking in PIB in better. biggrin.gif

good news from UOB.

they've called me back about my enquiries to YOLO's revised T&C @ 1 Jan 2019; the new exclusion item "16-i) Financial services transactions" and my specific question to JOMpay biggrin.gif

1) Jompay is still eligible, not excluded, and NOT categorized as Financial Services

2) CS mentioned specifically that BigPay is excluded (no surprise here since it wasnt eligible anyway)

3) Financial services is also determined from MCC. CS will revert the list of MCC under this category.

CS replied the exclusion of the MCC under "Financial Services"...

Dear xxxxx,

Thank you for your reply.

We will be excluding the MCC code 6012 for next year.

The definition of the MCC is as such:

Services may include deposits, the funding of an account, Visa Money Transfer Original Credit Transaction, purchase of foreign currency, money order and travellers cheques, loan fees or financial counselling service fees.

These are some of the items that may be categorized under MCC6012:

• Account Funding – Financial Institution
• Banks – Financial Institutions – Merchandise, Services
• Credit Unions – Financial Institutions – Merchandise, Services
• Deposits – Financial Institutions

May I know what is the MCC for Jompay then?
*
no idea, never asked from uob.

some said MCC 6012 for jompay; if that's the case, it'd be conflicting, or jompay itself is excluded (from exclusion) explicitly.

yep, later i call to ask my jompay's mcc; and also buzz the CS to clarify as well biggrin.gif

updates after checking with CS: all my jompay transactions were captured as MCC 4814.... for my usual jompay payees (tnb, astro, unifi broadband, maxis mobile, umobile postpaid)

Whops. Received my OCTOBER CB RM50 on 26 Nov. Just realized that you can't judge CB by statement date (NOV 15). Thanks everyone for the help
*
1) cb crediting is not fixed.
2) each person's statement date differs.

2 ways to know: check PIB yourself; or check in forum here and go back check your PIB biggrin.gif
