QUOTE(qu3vax @ Oct 10 2018, 10:49 PM) OKay, thank you~ You need to be careful though, sometimes the payment is not accurate and you will end up short payment. Best to disable it.and also why uob always tend to split payment... i feel weird about it. let say paying rm500, it splitted into 2. anyway as long as paid i also dont mind. |

Just checked my latest statement and RM 50 we received earlier was indeed JomPay. Its description is "JOMPAY NATIONWIDE CAMPAIGN - WEEK 16".

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Oct 15 2018, 05:16 PM) nothing new. it has been a nuisance feature to have for uob cardholders. Yeah and I just recalled I have more than one UOB card with BT now, quickly called CS just now to disable this feature. It needs 4 working days for management to approve but my due date will be on 2nd Nov, so I can pay separately that time. some prefer to have it, some dont because falling not able to manage it. I really don't know why people can prefer to have it. Some more IBFT is free now, so better disable it. |

QUOTE(JuneResources @ Oct 16 2018, 09:26 AM) The Auto Portion can be disabled from their system. Well, I don't use CDM so it's OK. But if you use CDM machine by cash, there is no way to disabled unless you click "NO" for Auto Portion every time when you use CDM machine. Recalled my case also same with that.. And then called CS to disable the feature. They say if use CDM machine cannot do anything for it. Need to click "NO" everytime if use CDM machine.. Sometimes I really don't understand why need that features for it.. Perhaps too many rich people just throw the money inside to CDM machine, and then let bank to decide the money throw under which account number. |

QUOTE(ckweng @ Oct 17 2018, 12:56 PM) Just called to request for a "waiver/offset/rebate" for the Service Tax charged to my YOLO but was declined quite strictly. CS said it can only be offset with 10,000 Uniringgit points which I don't have. I don't wish to do the cancel-then-retain route, so I think I'm paying to continue using the card. I didn't try though and already paid. Since I already got more than RM 600 per year, RM 25 is still worth it. |

QUOTE(kart @ Oct 18 2018, 10:48 PM) For UOB Yolo Card: Yes, can offset it and no financial charges. Can cashback be considered as a payment for statement balance? In other words, can I just pay statement balance minus cashback, on the payment due date, without incurring financial charges? Thank you for your information. |

QUOTE(avinlim @ Oct 19 2018, 10:16 AM) For YOLO card, Online BoostPay app reload considered as eligible transactions but the amount will not be calculated as cash back right? Yeah, it should work that way. However, please take note the cash back pool is FCFS.e.g: - I reloaded boost pay RM 20 x 16 times (Total RM320) - 1 transaction on lazada RM300. I will get 8% x RM300 = RM24 cb instead of RM620 x 8%... please correct me if I am wrong, just got my yolo and testing out those cb transactions. Nevertheless, in my opinion, one should maximize the cash back by only charging eligible transactions. Well, the choice is yours. |
