1st, this is a broadcast sms to all their users. they don't care who is who. it's a general marketing broadcast, that's all.

2nd, replying sms is to acknowledge and consent of participation. they need to use your details for selection and gift fulfilment process.

3rd, check your respective telco rate.

4th, if too paranoid to join, then don't send any sms to any banks/promos. simple to do, nothing to worry.

to be safe, send on actual campaign period.
