I'll never compare both phone and mirrorless/dslr as both cater different category. Phone camera is good to do casual / quick / everyday snap. I'll still prefer to take picture with my camera due to the versatility it offer.

Saw this as well. Wondering the wireless charge is it practical or not. Fast charge or not?

This type of fast charging is Qi wireless so it takes about 4 hours from 0 to 100% while the real Quick charge 2.0 takes 1 hour 45 mins from 0 to 100% wired so dont get so excited yet. I rather use the cable fast charge because while during every extra juice matters while at home i put my wireless charger beside my bed as a clock.

Theoutspokenguy explained it well. The 4 hours charging is terribly slow but makes sense. I bought this from AliExpress. Brand is Rock, there are 2 types: 5W and 10W. Mine is 10W and it costs around RM90 - RM100 including shipping which took about a little more than 2 weeks with AliExpress tracking.

I already have the rhinoshield bumper its great. Sometime i just throw my phone on table without worry. I even got it for my samsung s8+

The chances are there. For example, most of the Note 8 features already been outported into S8 during their Oreo update. So it's possible that our Note 8 will get the same treatment. The only problem is we need to wait patiently.

basically im not sure what is the advantages of s pen. what are the thing can i do with S pen?

real life usage of the s-pen (at least for me):

- cropping without screenshooting

- screen write

- sometimes you want to copy a certain text from some other apps but there's no copy function even with long-press aroun the text, with the s-pen you can press the button on the pen and the cursor becomes a text cursor allowing you to copy

- sometimes need to produce signature to sign e-documents

these 4 features i use often alone is already a very convenient access to information that i need

Yes. The smart select and it's ability to extract text is one of the more useful features for me. I didn't know how convenient & useful it is until I use s-pen. Lol. This is my 1st note, coming from s series and the s-pen really is a handy tool in how precise we can do things. I don't think I can go back to s-penless phone.

and also selecting a particular alphabet or number in a long sentence is easier with the s-penis
