I believe many people here (especially Chinese) will pantang about the funeral room next to the lobby's lifts.
The developer staff told me that the room "can be changed" to multipurpose hall or etc. afterwards by the decision of JMB.

May I know if any sifu here has similar experience / heard about similar cases? Please share share... thanks

the sg long residence, they have a surau, outside surau, there is a parking lot for van jenazah, at first I thought that surau is a parlour, damn

Hi for all information Condo under Fully Residential Title is under gov housing rules must build lolll, just some dev will write out even in brouchure some no,  some state out only in spa.

Why u guys didn't notice? Maybe always seeing else commercial title it is , hahaha

D'brightton is Fully Residential title, btw why u guys why so shock not those funeral corpse put there ching ching chang chang la, is emergency if unable get hospital ppl come pick up temporary place there je laa

    Aiyo, I had checked with developer side,  That is not a funeral room...
Is residential condo must compile on the requirement by authorities only. Normally is a multipurpose hall.
A lot project also had it which you can easily checked online also..

I understood that there is a bilik jenazah located beside lobby's lifts, but I'm wondering if there is any case out there where this room has successfully converted to other functional room after VP with JMB's decision (based on what the developer staff told me) .

Some staffs/agents told me that it is just a room to "temporarily" store dead bodies, but there is no black and white stating the function of this room - who knows in the future they really do those chingchiang stuffs inside 

To my understanding, this bilik jenayah is a requirement by the authority and this not only apply to d'brightton, just some other developer avoid to mention it in layout plan & etc. I believe no one hopes to see a 'funeral room' when walk by the lobby everyday, and i have not seen any residences remain it for dead bodies. I think it shouldnt be a problem to convert it for everyone's benefit.
