how to make my computer and xbox 360 using internet simultaneosly....
when I on xbox live my pc cannot run internet and vice versa...
Can someone help me sort this out...
I'm using an adsl modem (streamyx) and a linksys switch......
my pc using windows XP

guys, wat does it means by locale not supported? i tried using both of my id to sign up the xboxLIVE, but i gives me the same msg after i inputted the id and password

Ahem,
You are using modem and linksys switch?
No wonder, correct me if im wrong, but by saying switch,
I think this is what happen;

1.You connect both your computer and xbox to the same linksys switch.
2.Linksys switch work as a switch to allow only one connection at time.
3.So, if you are using internet on the PC, the switch disable connection for 360 and vice versa.

i using screamyx modem(billion) n dlink switch ... can using internet at the same time for both pc n xbox..

u need to set ur modem to auto connect ...

i got a new xbox 360 system.

i started with an OFFLINE profile.

now, i joined XBOX LIVE with another profile/gamertag name.

so how do i transfer my savegames/achievements/items over to the new XBOX LIVE gamertag/profile.

pls advise.

Me also, but I found a way to change the status from offline to XBOX LIVE account, but I forgot how.....try browsing your around console.


p.s. - I just got my loooooooong ethernet connection to xbox, so every night I'll possibly be online,anyone do feel free to add me to your friends list cus I dont have any friends (on xbox)

If you're using a new profile for XBlive I think it's not possible to transfer your other profile's data to it . It's unique I think , so if possible , use your previous profile with the data for LIVE .

i cant redeem xbox live gold code. it say "An error has occurred during the transaction. Please try again later" i tried so many times.what wrong?

hows the performance of xbox360 wifi? thinking of getting that. cos or else i need to get a repeater to send wifi signal to the living room downstairs and connect it to the switch port at the wifi repeater.

you can try find it at gamers hideout cineleisure. they got 3 month and also 1 year gold prepaid card. Last time I bought 3 month prepaid for RM 89. Or you can try buy it online at this website:

When I try to connect to Live, an error pops up that says I have insufficient MTU setting. I have checked and my MTU setting is definitely above the required amount. I am using Streamyx.

This problem has been persisting for about four days now. I have had no prior problems before this.

to get ur offline gamertag onto xbox live. first you need to change ur offline profile name into something more unique say something like monkeyfishfamily, or maybe not cuz its too long. But you get the picture. and register on live with that name. And that's it. Once ur registered, all ur offline achievements of from that profile will be used on live.

I just got on live today to test it out for the first time. But my maxisbb lags too much. Urgh..
