Sorry guys im kinda stuck atm trying to add my visa cc as a payment method for a gold membership. Keep getting the "Your credit card information is not valid. Please verify and try again" error. Tried with a sg gamercard and currently a US one. Been trying to troubleshoot by looking thru the forum, but no clear solution.

Hey guys, im sorry but i really cant find the solution even after reading the xbox live thread. After the expiry of my free 1month, im thinking of paying for the recurring monthly gold subscription. However, im having trouble adding my Maybank CC to the payment method.
Tried using SG GT and even US GT, but i get the same "Your credit card information is not valid. Please verify and try again" error. I doubt its Maybank restricting recurring payments overseas because im using it to pay for WoW monthly. Sorry if i missed out the solution in the xbox live thread :< |

Guys, can pin up the method to cancel LIVE on the first page?
I think it is only fair to other ppl to know the method to cancel the LIVE as ppl do move on to other games or more important things like family, gf, kids  This is also good as joining Live is like Hotel California, easy to join, but very hard to opt out. Not that I am anti-360 now, just a suggestion  . I mean when you join a gym membership or credit card or handphone contract or any membership in particular you do read the cancellation procedure right? |

@Bogardan, what's the address you use for your credit card? It's problematic for Microsoft point but xbox live subscription should be easier. Anyway i don't really know the exact solution because it's on case to case basis.
@paanjang16, Cancel Xbox Live? I think the only proper universal method is none other than calling Microsoft support (of any region). |

paying using cc is a hassle. y don't u just buy the prepaid from any gaming shop?

Address i tried was same as GT: sg, us, actual address cept US city/Postcode. Nvm.. i think ill just get a topup from GH.

According to various feedback from the forumer, XBL subscription is region free but Microsoft Point is not. (already update on first page)
I have given michael9413 1-month free gold card before (UK region) and it works. So i guess it should be alright. |

planning to get an xbox...just wondering, how is the xbox live with tmnet broadband? is it fairly smooth not really lagging etc?

anyone know what the problem is or what i can do to resolve it? mostly on google they say its just a server error. |

If you are playing with locals then shouldn't be a problem, with other Asian countries...there are ups & down, not stable.
