noob questions here, is the MS point cards region locked also?

eg: I bought an Asian MS point card, can I topup to my US account?


and, i got 2 account in my xbox, one I purchased an arcade game, Zuma using account A, when I sign in using account A, it's a full game, but when I sign in using account B, it's a trial game. How come? bcos I purchased Castle crasher also using account A, but it's a full game also in account B.

help pls....

Asia MS points is indeed Region Lock. You can't top up an Asian MS Point Card for a US Account. Come to think of it, I haven't try US MS point card use on our Asian Console. I go try tomorrow.

As for the Full GAme Xbox live Arcade Game, is Castle Crasher and Zuma download on the Same Console ?

US point card cannot used on asian GT

nope, different console

castle crasher was DLed from console A, which is the one I'm using now
Zuma was DLed first from console B, which RROD and re-DLed again with console A

which is why Zuma cannot be load as a full game cause it was "married" to your RROD Console.

if not mistaken you can actually migrate the account correct ? I forgot where is the sources... (and its from Microsoft)

zuma still can play as full game using the original account used to DL
it just my new account on the new console cannot

Just got my XBOX360 Elite Jasper modded today, need to ask some questions:

1) I dun care about online gaming, but i'm interested in downloading demo and such, will i need to join XBOX Live to enter? Will i get ban?

2) The dealer said that i can download the latest update using my PC, transfer to thumbdrive and update my Xbox, which is 100% safe and i won't get banned. Is this true??

2) No, not really. if u connect online even once, u might get flag, then the next update using a thumdrive would also ban yr unit.

So, if i don't connect to the XBOX Live, just download the updates using PC to a thumbdrive, and then plug this thumbdrive to the console, then i shouldn't get ban right??

yeah, but those updates only comes once/twice a year, nothing much would really change other than new dashboard design, game compatibility on yr side for rm8 games it still depends on the dvdrom firmware version. most probably those shop would suck u dry each time when a new security has applied to the new game disc.

the backward compatible for xbox 1 games comes with major system update, thats like the latest summer09 update
